„Love love love! Dec-2018: Stayed for 2-nts with the family (6 adults and 5 (all under 9yrs) children) and loved the location, space and freedom that Cumnock Knowes afforded us. You can't miss the property as it stands proud on the horizon as you drive south, out of Carsphairn. The woodland that has been removed from around the house would have offered some protection from the elements, but the views from every window were fantastic - hopefully replanting is in the plans for the future. „We stayed for one week in July 2022 in this very nice house. The contact with the owners was very smooth. The complete house and especially the kitchen was extremely well equipped, and the beds were comfortable too. The location of the house is in a very nice and quiet area. „House is very well designed and furnished to a very high standard and us only a 10 minute walk from the village and 5 minute walk to the golf course. The views from the decking area are beautiful. „The house was perfect for our family of 7, with four bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. All rooms were a good size with a large kitchen dinner. The bonus for us with two teenage grandchildren was the pool table and table tennis. Would go back anytime.“

„Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Haus. Kirsty und Matt waren bei Problemen sofort zur Stelle und haben sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert. Leider sind die Betten schon ziemlich alt und durchgelegen. Darum nur 4 Sterne.“

„Helendale was our second cottage in Scotland and we loved it like the other before. We were six people and two dogs and had space for everyone. The next shop is ten minutes away by car, but the reward is quitness, you are only hearing the sea and seagulls, and a stunning view for sundowners.“

„Lovely clean caravan on a quiet very well kept site. Lots to see and do around the area, we had a fantastic 3 night stay. Lounge area spacious and double bed very comfy. Only thing I would say is that the twin beds are small my teenagers were too big to get comfy, would be OK for younger children.“

„Great spot for exploring Galloway. Hot tub overlooking the forest, and walks starting straight from the cabin. Wildlife all around. Note that it is attached to another cabin & a farm, so it's not isolated - but we did feel like we had privacy. Otherwise a washing machine could be a good addition. Dave & Becky were very helpful, we'd definitely come back!“

„Joanna was a wonderful host who made us feel like we were at home away from home. The property is lovely and peaceful, perfect for a quiet Christmas. „Immaculate, large cottage with a luxury feel and everything you could need. We loved our stay. The Welcome Basket was a lovely extra touch. The grounds are amazing. You can walk for miles.
