Upon arrival, I didn’t have a parking pass code & the one provided didn’t work. The gate code I was given didn’t work all week. I asked two separate times for one since you need it to get into the parking lot, the building, the gym, the pool, etc. but never heard back and finally got a code from a maintenance man. The floors were very sandy upon check in. There was 3 beds advertised and only two. Yes, there was a pull out sofa but that wasn’t the pictures I saw when booking and the mattress was awful even for a kid. No sheets or blanket provided for it either. Day 3 they did drop off sheets. There was one lightweight blanket on each bed- no comforters. The lights and ceiling fan in the living room glitch out, flash and turn off within a minute of flipping switch so they never worked. There were hundreds of ants in the master bedroom, bathroom and even in the bed! The walk-in shower has a soggy sub floor like repairs need to done under the drain pan- kind of scary to stand in and I’m not a large human- a grown man definitely wouldn’t want to shower in there. The workout gym was dated and most equipment was out of order. The lobby area was not clean and inviting. The overall proximity to the beach was fantastic and the stay itself was okay but wouldn’t recommend this particular room. We had friends staying in other condos at Emerald Isle and their rooms were very clean and much more updated for the same price which was disappointing.
