my wife and my daughter and my grandchildren absolutely loved it the lazy river, the swimming pools the view the food from the restaurants I live here I had all the kids and grandkids come to us. I loved it and I’ll be doing that again because I’m getting too damn old to travel to far distances so we’ll be renting again from this place.

When we arrived, the condo looked great. It was spacious, and the balcony was awesome. However, the first night, I woke up to find 2 of my girls on the couch. They were sleeping in the twin bedroom. When I asked why they were sleeping on the couch, one of my girls stated that she had bugs crawling on her. When I went to inspect the issue in the middle of the night, we found several bugs crawling around on the twin bed. There were also black marks on the plastic box springs covering. When I messaged the host, she told me to just wash the blankets in hot water and that she would refund my cleaning cost. She said we could just use the pull out sofa. After returning home, I showed the pictures to a friend. It was determined that it did look like bed bugs. I am thankful I had my kids take their luggage and other items out of that room. I found this upsetting, because we paid a decent amount of money for this property, and she acted like it was not a big deal. Upon opening the trunk where the bedding was in the living room, the sheets were covered in what appeared to be crackers. I had to wash those linens before we could use them. The overall look of this place was nice. It was very spacious for a family of 6. However, when a deeper inspection was done, there were many cleaning details that were missed. I did appreciate the coffee amenities and other items that made the stay comfortable. I just can't overlook the bugs and the crumbs.

Beautiful place

This was a great stay that had plenty of room for our group of 6. Great views of the bay from the balcony. It's conveniently located next to the boardwalk and a watercraft rental business. There is plenty to do without ever having to drive while your at the property. Overall a great stay, and destin west just became our go to vacation spot.

This place is one of th nicest we have stayed in the many years coming to this property! They thought of so many small details that wer so nice to have including extra beach towels, coffee, beach toys etc. We were impressed the moment we walked in. You can tell much thought was put into every aspect of this place. The location is also spectacular with a view of both the bat and ocean. We will definitely keep this high on our list of places to stay when at Destin West!

Family Trip

We had 7 people in our group. The condo was PREFECT!! The condo was extremely clean. We loved the lazy river, pools, and easy access to the beach. The owner was extremely easy to contact and work with. We would highly recommend this condo!

Great stay

We had a great week. It's a nice unit and a great place to stay.The condo is bigger than the pictures make it look, lots of space.The host was fast at responding and friendly. The unit is in Fort Walton I believe. With the name Destin west I thought we were going to be closer to Destin and all the restaurants but it was closer to fort Walton and those restaurants as stated in the listing that I didn't read closely.It could have been cleaned better. First appearance it looked clean but as the week went on started to notice lots of trash,dust hair under sofa and beds that was not from us. I found a sock under master bed that was covered in dust looked like it had been there a while. Crumbs in the couch and the bottom outside tolit bowel looked like it had dried up vomet all over it that had not been cleaned. I think the condo could use a good spring cleaning but overall was generally clean. Lots of extras to use in the condo was nice as well such as beach toys,chairs wagon if needed. Paper towels laundry pods and trash bags. Was a great unit, worth renting and would recommend!

Great condo

This is a very nice condo, kitchen is FULLY stocked!! You need to bring nothing to use in the kitchen. There is plenty of seating in the living room with a sectional, recliner and side chair. A large table with 6 chairs in the dinning room with 2 stools to use if needed. Additional seating on get large balcony for dinners or relaxing in the chaise lounges. Beach wagon, toys, boogie boards, beach chairs were all on the balcony for our use (we brought our own). The master bedroom is huge with a jetted tub, separate shower and walking closet. Beach towels were even provided!! Full size washer/dryer with a stocked utility closet to keep the condo clean!! A short walk to the beach, maybe 3-5 mins depending on little legs. This condo over looks the bay, lazy river and 2 pools. This condo does have a small ocean view. I will definitely book this condo in the future. The host was very accommodating, responded quickly to any questions we had.

Lovely three bedroom condo super clean and creatively decorated;beautiful balcony overlooking bay.

We loved our condo stay. Very convenient to restaurants and activities in Destin. We went deep sea fishing, rented a pontoon boat, and had fun parasailing; all less than 20 minutes away. I would definitely stay again!

Just AMAZING!

This unit is so nice! A perfect spot with gorgeous view of the bay! A quick fun walk to the gulf side to the prettiest beach ever! The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to make all your meals.. The unit definitely needs a deep clean but I'm not going to pick that apart. We had a great time. Thank you!

Gorgeous Condo!

Overall rating of the condo is a 5 out of 5 because it is a gorgeous condo with a great view. We would definitely book again. I only have a 4 for cleanliness because there was trash under the kids beds that we noticed the first night & the floors needed cleaned in a bad way. Also, this condo does not come with all amenities of the resort. Such as the work out room.. I just wish that would have been included in the description. Property manager was very quick to respond each time we needed anything. Overall an amazing trip, definitely recommend!

Family Vacation

Wonderful stay

Loved staying here. Clean and comfortable. Has a large balcony on the 5th floor. Beautiful view of bay and lazy river. Owner was quick to respond. As a side note for lazy river. If you want to have drinks in pool/lazy river you have to have it in a covered cup. Have to have band to use pool.
