„Characterful thatched inn in countryside location. Comfortable room & good breakfast.“

„So impressed with our superior room, with terrace and a lovely hot tub! Such good value for money. The room was so spacious and perfect for a 2 night stay. Great walks very close and Fordingbridge is lovely for a wander. The Three Lions pub was so nice, the food was great on both nights, really friendly and polite staff. We are planning on returning for our anniversary weekend next year.“

„Neue Bewirtschaftung. Gemütlicher Pub mit Zimmern in extra Gebäude. Sehr sauber. Für England übliche B+B Ausstattung. Sehr nettes Personal.

„Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely stay again! The rooms were nice and cosy, great food options, quiet location, friendly staff and only a few minutes drive from car parks to walk in the New forest. Highly recommend“

„Great view of the river and swans, good food, helpful staff.“

„So schön eingerichtet.

„ The rooms themselves are okay. Unfortunately, one of the double beds squeaked, which always woke up our daughter at the slightest movement. It is very inconvenient to spend the night there with suitcases or possibly a wheelchair as there are many stairs leading to the individual rooms. Therefore, before booking, you should check whether there is a room available that wheelchair users can access. The view of the river is beautiful. The walk to the city center isn't far either. „Very nice pub. Good service and friendly staff. Nice room. Air conditioning a little too loud. For one night a great place to stay. “

„I have just stayed at The Fighting Cocks for the weekend. Unfortunately we choose the weekend of the A31 closure and the New Forest fires! Resulting in a lot of traffic passing the pub. Not their fault. The staff were very helpful and friendly the room was great, clean and comfortable and breakfast was included and really tasty. We had an evening meal on the Saturday which was ample and reasonably priced. All in all a great little stop over.“
