Wouldn’t Recommend
When we arrived, the house was clean and I liked the updates and historic charm. However, the kids couldn’t use the basement (rec room) because there were a ton of mayflies flying around and lots of small ants by the couch (it had just rained and the basement window’s exterior isn’t properly sealed). Owner said he had someone come spray for bugs when we were out but it didn’t look like anyone did when we came back. It was also very hot upstairs (there is no a/c window unit). The owner never called me back when I asked to turn the air down, nor to discuss the hole we accidentally put in the wall (made of compact, crumbly wood/board). He did call back when I initially called him to let him know and he said “send photos”. Never heard from him again after that, even though I tried to contact him. Not a pleasant experience at all. Hopefully other people’s stay here has gone/does go better than ours did.
