« Overall not bad but hotel quite noisy (you wake up when the first room in the hotel wakes up, was 6am in our case). Also be careful to ask for non-smoking room. The smell was not so terrible but some parfum was used to cover it. Otherwise perfectly located, close to the rail station and center of Varenna. Employees have been very nice and helpful. »

PLEASE do yourself a favor and enter the address into Google or Apple Maps and DO NOT rely on the map within the VRBO app. It is wrong. This Villa is up the hill in Perledo and not very accessible walking. We made due but it was certainly not where VRBO leads you to believe it is. »

« Good value for money and friendly host. I would give it 3.5 stars. The property has a lovely garden and view of the lake but best suits someone with a car as there is a limited bus timetable to and from Varenna and is not suitable for walking. We travelled in October so perhaps there may be better transport options in the summer months. The room had everything we needed but could do with some updating. »

« The apartment (and most importantly, the terrace with its view) looks just like on the photos. The approach road is steep and extremely curvy, but we know we would be rewarded each time. Amenities in the building are great, and the apartment itself offers lots of extras (albeit some with DIY installation that can look a bit haphazard — but it all worked). Responses and advice from the owner were delivered promptly, at all hours, and were extremely helpful. A wonderful place for staying on Lake...

« Magnifique vue sur le lac de Côme L'accès au villa est un peu compliqué. La literie des 2 chambres sur quatre ne sont pas fait et le jardin non plus,.lors de notre arrivée. La quatrième chambre est une chambre pour enfant , pas d'armoire de rangement et elle est minuscule Le point le plus handicapant est le wifi, zéro débit , nous devons utiliser notre forfait 4G à l'étranger et devons acheter le forfait supplémentaire »
