Creation Museum Overnight
We had 9 people in our group but could have easily fit lots more. There is a big room where an entire group can gather and small spaces for people to spread out. Also nice large seating areas for eating. We had a great time!

Beautiful and spacious home
Wanda was a very responsive host who went above and beyond to compensate for the home having internet and wifi issues. Our one teenager brought his xbox but we did not have any dvds. Wanda borrowed some dvds and made a trip to drop off the dvds in the evening. We had a couple movie nights thanks to Wanda.

Beautiful home that housed our large family
We stayed here for just under a week. Our party was comprised of our parents, three siblings and spouses, and our 8 young children. The home was very clean and tidy when we arrived. We loved that the home was fairly secluded and located in the country. Our host left wonderful instructions as to the best way to enjoy our stay and the home. I appreciated she stayed in great communication about how to access the home which made it easy to check in. The only thing we would have changed would be we would have preferred the grass be kept a bit shorter. The kids weren’t able to play much outside as a result of the long grass and we found multiple ticks which might have been reduced by a neater yard.

Unfortunately, it was just a timing between the rain and I had to have the mower service, and they didn’t get the mower back to me in time to get it cut during your stay. Family trip to the Ark and Creation Museum
This home was just what we needed to be home base while we were sight-seeing in Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio! Clean, comfortable, well stocked, and the host was very easy to communicate with. There is plenty of room to spread out in the bedrooms, bathrooms, 2 dining areas and 2 living rooms/spaces. Kitchen has almost everything one could possibly need on vacation. Great flat yard in the back for a game of baseball.

Great for group/extended family!
We were a group of 3 sisters, our husbands, 6 year old, 3 x 13 year olds, 15, 16, 17, and 19 year old. The home has plenty of seating space in the two different living areas, eating space in the kitchen and dining room, as well as bedroom space. Our fourteen family members were never cramped. We did cook and found the kitchen to be well stocked. And, best of all, Wanda was fantastic when we had questions. We would definitely recommend this house!

We loved this property. Had a group of 9 going skiing at nearby Perfect North (just 15 mins away). There was nothing close by like shops or restaurants but that was fine with us as we didn't need those amenities. Plenty of room to accommodate us all and it was so calm and peaceful after a long day of skiing and dealing with crowds at the slopes. The view of the sunrise over the barn was just lovely. Kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, utensils, plates, coffee cups, etc to make it easy for whipping up a quick breakfast. We will definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect North weekend
The house was perfect for our long weekend of skiing. The rooms accommodated everyone perfectly. The house was nicely equipped and Wanda was easy to communicate with. My only feedback was that the main level bedroom did not have any doors. There were only curtains in doorways for privacy which would be less than ideal on the main level.

This house was great. Plenty of room for us to relax and sleep. I was super thankful that not only does it sleep many, but the dining room table feed all 8 of us and there was room to pull up more chairs if we needed. Very clean and spacious with a beautiful tree lined driveway and spacious yard which I wish we would have had more time to enjoy..The house supplies a fire pit with firewood, a pack and play and a walker if needed and my grand children enjoyed the games Relax in the quit country after spending the day on the slopes

It was a lovely location and a cozy home. It could use more light in the living room and heat in the 4 season room. Otherwise, we really enjoyed the location as we are country people ourselves. The dryer seems to have issues, but mostly worked. Thank You !!

I’m so sorry that you had some issues during your stay. I wish you had contacted me while you were here. I could have stopped by to fix the issue. The dryer knob has been replaced. Wonderful family gathering place
We needed a place that was decently centrally located for my husband and I and all of his sibs and their spouses. The house had plenty of space to spread out so that we weren't constantly stepping on each other but great places to sit and talk in big or small groups. Plenty of supplies in the kitchen too and plenty of bathrooms. And the property was absolutely beautiful!! It was perfect!

This property is in an excellent location to visit these two attractions. We were able to drive to the Ark for a one-day visit and then the Creation Museum the next day. For our family group of five, all seniors/+65, the property was very comfortable.

Great Place to Stay in Petersburg KC
This is a nice big house back in the woods on a beautiful piece of property where it is quiet and peaceful. If you are going to stay here, look for the address on the brick mail boxes. My GPS told me I arrived at a barn down the street and I drove past the house twice before I found it. It is only 5 min from the Creation Museum which was very convenient for us since that was one of the attractions we came to visit.

Family vacation
We are from TN and met cousins from WI here at this house. It was the perfect place for the 8 of us. We had two elderly women with us and the property was great for them. We sat outside and had a fire in the evening. We sat on the front porch in the shade during the day. We visited The Creation Museum one day and The Ark Encounter the next. The house was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. I highly recommend this property.

We were a party of 8, and there was ample room for all. The house was clean and the property is large and quiet. We visited the Creation Museum, Ark Encounter and the Land of Illusion water park. We were able to enjoy home cooked dinners together around the large dining table each night and after there was separation between the card players and tv watchers. Deer, fireflies, butterflies and frogs were our backyard entertainment. Just perfect.

Wanda was wonderful about communicating with me. We were there for my son's wedding and she even gave me recommendations to help plan the rehearsal dinner. The home was clean, spacious and beautiful. We used every bed in the house and everyone had plenty of room for everyone. We enjoyed sitting outside by the fire ring and grilling outside. I would definitely rent from Wanda again.

When we arrived at the house it was very clean and tidy. We had our youngest 6 children with us, so 8 of us total. There was plenty of room for us all and room for more if anyone stays with a larger group. We stayed for 5 nights and were very at home and comfortable. The area is very private and beautiful. We went to the creation museum and the house was only a couple minutes away so we were able to go back and forth for lunch and breaks. We also went to the ark and were only about 45 minutes away. The host was very easy to communicate with! We loved our stay and the house was supplied with anything we needed other than our own food, which made it very simple so that we didn’t need to bring many items. We couldn’t have been more blessed!! We thank God for how wonderful our time away was!

Perfect home & location!
This was a perfect place for our family to stay as we visited the Creation Museum (just a couple of minutes down the road) and Ark Encounter (30 min away). The many bedrooms and bathrooms were appreciated! The large yard was great for the kids to run off any left over energy. Easy family get together
I booked the home for my 50th birthday celebration. My teenage daughter lives nearby and the rest of us descended on Kentucky from different states. You can never be sure what you're getting into when you book a property, but I'm always encouraged when the owner communicates as well as this one did. I make it a point to always have at least one question to test that. The house was fully equipped. I was happy about that, because some places skimp on things like towels or not even including hand soap. You do need to bring your own shampoo and whatever you use for bathing, but that's typical. There are also plenty of dishes and baking items which we found very useful. There are four bedrooms on the upper floor (three queen and one twin) with one being a master. There is sleeping in the way of a day bed on the first floor and a bunk bed in the basement. Having the four bathrooms were also nice - that count includes the dedicated one in the master. We never had to wait in line like we do at my brother's house. The vaulted family room is the main space for hanging out. The sectional there is big and fit all of us nicely. The room is cooler than the rest of the house during a cold spell during March when we were there. It's hard to say if that'd be a factor in the hotter summer months or not. The Internet is terrific. We had planned some online gaming as a family and was happy to see over 400 down and 300 up when I tested it (if that doesn't mean anything to you than don't worry it'll be more than enough for you). Overall, the quiet, rural setting was my favorite amenity. It may be a bit far from everything for some people, but anything major is within 15 minutes or so. In closing, you're picking a host as much as you're picking a house when you book a property. The owner seems genuinely interested in the quality of her rental based on our communication. And the fact that the cleaning fee was reasonable is a bonus not lost on me.
