I arrived at the property after a long day of travel, and was underwhelmed at what I found. There were two different groups of teenagers in the parking lot loitering - I don’t know what they were doing and maybe it was harmless, but it didn’t feel right. When I got into the lobby, the woman working the front desk looked up my reservation and said it had been canceled two months ago. I told her I hadn’t canceled it, and I had not been told it was canceled. In fact, Expedia emailed me earlier in the day to see how check-in went. The front desk lady told me there was nothing she could do, that the property was full. I spent an hour on the phone with Expedia but they told me they thought the hotel sold my room to a higher paying customer. They set me up at a different hotel but it was well after midnight and they couldn’t get me in anywhere that night, so my new hotel took me in starting the next day. I had to sleep in my rental car in the Studio 6 parking lot. The front desk lady said she’d talk to the manager the next day and that the manager would call me, but of course that did not happen. This was a nightmare, and no concern was shown by this property’s management. Avoid this hotel. It is run-down and the management have shady business practices.
