Shipwreck Sands is in a beautiful and tranquil absolute beachfront section of Picnic Bay.



Shipwreck Sands is nestled at the east end of the Picnic Bay beachfront. This is the last property fringed by bushland on one side that attracts an array of birdlife that you will appreciate from inside or outside this lovely home. Shipwreck Sands overlooks a lush, grassed foreshore on the edge of the sand, nothing to obstruct the beautiful view. A perfect home to take in the view across the bay and the magnificent granite boulders of Hawkings Point.



Within easy walking distance you can throw a fishing line off the historic jetty, relax and enjoy a delicious meal at the foreshore restaurants and cafes, explore walking tracks to stunning coral sea lookouts, play a round of golf at the local course or simply enjoy the peace of quiet and beautiful surrounds of this magnificent property.



This house features comfortable furnishings and decor throughout. The architecturally designed home has used angles and windows to capture the tropical breeze and plenty of light. A front deck brings the outside in and you can enjoy the view across the Coral Sea to Townsville on the horizon. The private side deck makes the perfect place to enjoy the pool and outside dining area.



This home is suitable for both couples and families featuring 4 bedrooms. There are 2 queen beds and an option to have 4 king single beds or 2 king beds. The main bedroom features an ensuite plus there are 2 additional bathrooms.

Magnetic Island is located 8km from Townsville and accessible by passenger or vehicle ferries.

67% of Magnetic Island is National Park Land, allowing for 36km of walking tracks with Australian wildlife like Koalas, Echidnas, Wallabys and many different birds. These tracks lead to magnificent views of the Island, its bays and surrounding blue Coral Sea.



Getting Around:

Magnetic Island can be easily accessed by the public bus service and taxis.

If you prefer to travel at your own pace there are hire cars available once on the Island. Parking is available.

Public Transport options are a close walking distance from Shipwreck Sands.
