This property does not have a washer/dryer as was put in correspondence. Therefore we were not prepared for that. When we arrived...30 minutes after our 4:00 checkin time...the people were still there cleaning...after a 6 hour drive...had to wait another 20 to 30 minutes...then had to call back to get dishwasher tabs that were supposed to be in the starter package. The front electric door lock...did not work for us. The cleaning person accessed the key for us to use. The outside of the property was fantastic. Loved the fire pit area. The outside space was great. The inside while nice, seemed unfinished...the mattresses were uncomfortable...and squeeked everytime you moved. And finally...WD40 we recommend the use of WD40...everywhere. We are frequent users through VRBO...we would not stay at this property again. And...I will avoid using any property where Stayover is the property manager.

Overall we were very disappointed. When we arrived the air wasn't working. Maintenance did not arrive until after midnight. He did bring portable air conditioners, but the problem was with them running a breaker kept tripping. The problem with this is that one breaker controls, lights, plug ins in the bed rooms, lights and plug ins in the pool room, the refrigerator, and plug ins in the bathroom. The breaker box was not accessible so we had to call maintenance again. It was several hours before anyone arrived. It cannot be safe to have that many items on one breaker. We had to be care full not to run multiple items at once or the breaker would trip again. Luckily the door to access breaker box did not shut all the way so we were able to reset the breaker ourselves the rest of the time. The oven just randomly shuts off in the middle of trying to cook. The house has lots of bugs in it. Spiders, moths, mosquitoes...not sure how they all get in. The second bathroom has no water pressure. The deck and stairs is in very poor condition and has a hot tub on it. We were very uneasy about it all weekend. The bedrooms have nothing but beds and a night stand. There are no dressers for clothes. Overall not a good experience.

Vacation

Beautiful cabin and property. Enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, and sitting around the fire at night. Very peaceful. Would stay there again. Close to what we wanted to do around the area.

Could be wonderful with a few changes

Great location and space for a family. We were told there would be a code to enter ina keypad to get in but there was no keypad. When I tried to reach someone I was given another keypad code and they didn't understand there was no keypad on the property. You'd think they would know their property better. So we hunter around and found a lock box and had to wait for a code to get the key out of that. Bugs were everywhere, spiders in all rooms on ceilings and corners, needs a better dusting of ceilings. Dishes were still caked in food so we had to re wash everything before using it. Beds were on very flimsy frames with no support. Every tiny move made lots of loud noises, not a good sleep. Lights on deck didn't work so we used flood lights only. Floors are coming up everywhere and they tried to cover some of the spots with rugs but they are in bad shape. The space and area are incredible. They just need to make some updates and do a better job cleaning between guests and it would be great. Really need to know more about the property considering no one knew we didn't have a keypad to enter and couldn't even get in when we arrived. Also, paid a pet fee but found someone to watch the dog. Let them know ahead of arrival and they weren't sure if they could refund that fee and never got back to me on it.

Disappointed

Our stay started with not being able to get in the house… I had received no fewer than three texts and or emails giving instructions on the code to use but it didn’t work. Called and were given an entirely different code..The house could definitely use some TLC! When we walked in there was an odor from the beginning, not sure what it was but it never went away..There was a small rug laying in the middle of the floor over by the bedrooms, which was covering up the flooring which was all jacked up, like who does that, just fix and replace the flooring, it is a definite trip hazard! The bathroom by the bedrooms had a doorknob that kept falling off!The master bedrooms closet door was completely off the track and basically just laying up against the closet!I think all of the windows had dead bugs laying in the sills!The coffee pot had not been emptied, the old filter and coffee grinds were left in it!The dishwasher was left with all the dishes in it, which we didn’t touch, we just left it as is!One of the reasons we rented this place was for the hot tub, to be able to enjoy after a long day of hiking… well that didn’t happen because half of our group being hot tub owners, know what a clean hot tub should look like, this was not it, the filter was disgusting! Overall this place could use a deep clean and repairs!Now the good points, great location, front porch was great and the hammock swings by the fire pit were awesome! The Management Co needs to do better on this one!

Just a day stay over

Property from the photos was nice and the fixtures where very nice as well as the beds. Floor is not level with soft spots and trip hazards. Not sure why there was a pool ball missing but we dealt with it. Fire pit area was nice, but stairs down were soft and missing the rung in the middle of the steps. The door lock had to be replaced by maintenance for us to get in. There was a horrible smell when we went into the home, but they did have Febreze.
