Koh Phayam, #Thailand 🇹🇭 is definitely not a victim of “overtourism” - at least, not yet and not during the low season. My #travel buddy and I were there for most of a week and saw maybe five or six other tourists! This was Buffalo Bay, which we walked up and down twice and I don’t recall seeing anyone except a few local kids.

I'm in love with Koh Phayam. I read some accounts of people finding the island too quiet. This is precisely what I adore about it. No cars. Not too many people (you can always find a beach with no one around, such as this one). Relaxed vibe. Relaxed life.
Have just ventured up north and serendipitously found a restaurant right by the beach - we are not the only ones here: there are many monkeys wandering around! 🌴☀️👍💕🙈😊🌸

Hello from Paradise! We have started our little Island Hopping Adventure in the South of Thailand. First stop: Koh Phayam. A quiet Island which still has a true 'in the middle of nowhere' feel to it. I can count the people around me in two hands. Never been to such an empty beach before. It's lovely! Also very pleased with our accommodation: open-air shower and a huge hammock big enough for two on our veranda. Just swam in the ocean for nearly an hour - the water temperature is divine!! Looking forward to a very relaxed few days on this picture perfect Island!
