„One shower for a house that can sleep 6 is not sufficient, especially when the drainage system was poor. Each shower session will flood the toilet, we had to line the doorway with towels. We can’t wash our hair and a simple shower will flood the shower tray. Water spill over the shower door threshold and we have to finish rinsing our hair at the laundry. „We loved being able to divide the house to keep our 6 mth old pup confined. The kitchen was well appointed and the floors were easy to clean as we kept traipsing sand in. Loved the position as the street was quiet, and the backyard was quite something for our inner west pup to run his energy out. He loved it more than the beach. Thanks again for a fab week.“

We did a little bit of exploring of the area but on some days the best thing was to get up pretty early and just walk across the road to the beach on our doorstep - so beautiful for a morning walk or evening stroll. „The house was nice but the grounds were poorly maitained. The lawns needed mowing and there were multiple weeds growing in the outdoor tiled areas. "We stayed at Discovery Parks - Gerroa and overall had a comfortable stay. One thing that felt a little unusual as tourists was being placed very close to the permanent residents in the park, which made the atmosphere feel less like a holiday campground at times. The cabin itself was well equipped and we appreciated small touches like the bathtub and the body lotion provided. The staff were also very helpful — we had an issue with a broken door and it was fixed very quickly after we reported it. The view over the lake was pleasant, although not particularly spectacular. A big plus was having two separate air conditioning units, one in the living room and one in the bedroom, which made the stay much more comfortable. We did not end up using the camping facilities, so cannot comment on those, but overall it was a good and practical stay."
