Our stay at Moinho da Areia was absolutely wonderful! The historic property is beautiful, the bedding was highly comfortable, and you cannot beat the direct beach access. What truly made our trip special was the innkeeper, Cristina. She is fantastic! She prepared a delicious daily breakfast and went out of her way to help us with special requests, even providing a travel converter when we realized we forgot ours. A local music festival did impact our stay, making it less quiet than we had originally hoped for. However, the property hosts proactively informed us of the event well prior to our arrival, so we really appreciated the honest communication and great service!

The location was perfect! The accommodations were very nice; it was perfect for four adults. The communication was consistent and clear on how to check in / check out. It included a full mini kitchen so you have the luxury of bringing in your own snacks, but if you don´t, they have snacks and a refrigerated minibar available.
