The Space:

Indoor Amenities



The kitchen is ready for you to whip up anything from a quick breakfast to a relaxed evening meal. Equipped with a stove, oven, microwave, toaster, espresso machine, kettle, and refrigerator, it’s perfect for cozy mornings. Pull up a chair at the dining table and enjoy your coffee as sunlight filters through the trees, bringing the calm of the forest inside.



The Living Space



The studio sleeps up to 4 guests with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed. The compact living area, with a soft sofa, coffee table, and wardrobe, invites you to unwind after a day of hiking or cycling. Enjoy over 60 TV channels including Netflix, movies, TV series, news, children’s programs, streaming apps, live TV, and more in multiple languages. Curl up with a Greek or English book, or enjoy a card game with friends as the forest whispers outside your window.



Bath Facilities



The bathroom, tucked at the end of the apartment, features a refreshing shower and fresh towels, professionally cleaned and ironed to make every stay feel effortless and fresh.



Outdoor



Just a few steps from the studio, your private patio awaits. Listen to the gentle river as you sip your morning coffee, enjoy an afternoon of reading, or simply watch the forest sway in the breeze. The gated patio is exclusively yours, creating a serene outdoor retreat.



Note: The small balcony is not directly attached to the studio. It is a separate outdoor space located about five steps from the front door. For seating, feel free to use the metal furniture placed indoors beside the cabinet.



Guest Access:

Guests have a private entrance to the studio, ensuring complete privacy and independence. Self check-in via a lockbox makes arrivals effortless, and the staircase to the studio is well-lit at night for safety. The property provides three convenient parking spaces exclusively for our guests included in your stay. Please note, you will need to go down 2 flights of stairs to reach the studio. Once you book, you’ll receive a link to your very own guest portal where you’ll complete verification. Your check-in details will be unlocked once verification is complete, with your access code released a few hours before arrival, ensuring a seamless and secure check-in experience.



The Neighborhood:

Pano Platres is a historic and charming hill resort, mentioned among the 119 villages of the Limassol district dating back to the Lusignan Era (12th–15th century) and the Venetian Era (15th–16th century). Located just 5 km from Troodos, it offers a variety of services, restaurants, bars, cafés, grocery shops, and traditional souvenir stores.



The name Pano Platres (“Upper Plátres”) was adopted in recent years to distinguish it from the nearby village of Tornarides, now called Kato Platres (“Lower Plátres”), yet locals and visitors alike still refer to it simply as Platres.



Seasons & Experiences



Pano Platres offers two distinct experiences depending on the time of year. From May to late September, especially on weekends and during August, the village comes alive with visitors enjoying nature, open-air dining, and lively local culture. From October to late April, the area becomes a peaceful retreat, ideal for those seeking tranquillity, quiet mountain walks, and the beauty of nature in its full glory. While some restaurants and a supermarket remain open, the focus is on serenity and relaxation.



Through your guest portal, you’ll also have access to a local guidebook with tips, recommendations, and hidden gems to make your stay unforgettable.



Getting Around:

The property is located in the heart of Pano Platres, so you can easily walk to local restaurants, cafés, and shops, everything you need is right on your doorstep. For exploring the wider area, we recommend having a car, as bus services in the mountains are limited, though taxis are also available.



Once you book, you’ll receive a link to your guest portal with local recommendations, helpful tips, and detailed information on getting around to help you make the most of your stay.



Other Things to Note:

Parking



There are 3 parking places available in front of house No5 (yellow house) on the top floor. Please park your car vertically, like in the picture (not horizontally), so other residents have parking space too



Self-Catering & Starter Kit



The property is offered as self-catering accommodation rather than a hotel, giving you the freedom and flexibility to enjoy your stay at your own pace. To help you settle in, we provide a complimentary starter kit with the essentials for your arrival, including toilet roll, tea, coffee, sugar, coffee pods where applicable, a bottle of water, shower gel, shampoo and basic cleaning essentials. The starter kit is intended to get you settled in at the beginning of your stay. Please note that edible cooking ingredients such as salt, pepper, oil and other food items are not provided. Consumable items are also not replenished throughout your stay. There are supermarkets, shops, bakeries and other amenities nearby where you can easily purchase anything else you may need.



Cleanliness Standards



Our professional team ensures the property is thoroughly cleaned and prepared before every arrival. Freshly laundered and professionally ironed bed linen and towels are provided, so you can enjoy a clean, comfortable and welcoming space from the moment you arrive.



Travelling with Little Ones



Children under 2 stay free of charge. A travel cot is available for €20 per stay and includes a fitted bottom sheet and towel. A highchair can also be provided for €10 per stay. Please request these in advance so we can have them prepared for your arrival.



Need Flexibility?



Early check-in and late check-out may be available upon request through your guest portal for an additional fee, subject to availability.



Verification & Check-In



For security and compliance purposes, all guests are required to upload a valid ID and sign a short-term rental agreement before check-in. Once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a secure link to your personal guest portal, where you can complete the required verification. Once the verification process has been completed, your check-in details will be released. For security purposes, the property's access code will only be provided one hour before your scheduled check-in time.

The link provided in your check-in message will take you to your personal guest portal, where you’ll find everything you need for your stay in one convenient place. Your portal includes your property guide, check-in and check-out instructions, and a local guidebook with recommendations for things to do, places to visit, restaurants and more. You can also use your guest portal to request or purchase additional services during your stay, including extra cleaning, fresh linen and towels, early check-in or late check-out, where available.
