Overall the stay was wonderful. It was what we needed for our last minute trip. The house decor truly set the scene for our Pocono getaway. Since it snowed, the vestibule area between the main door and the house was very slippery on the hardwood floors, which caused a challenge for us coming and going. The fridge shelves weren’t the cleanliness and the master bedroom didn’t lock. Otherwise, we had no complaints. And our kids enjoyed the fooseball and air hockey table. The hosts were accessible and promptly responded when we reached out.

Arrowhead home with great outdoor spaces

We enjoyed our weekend at this Arrowhead Lake rental. We really appreciated that everything was included in the price we paid on the VRBO site, including all the Arrowhead Community fees. This was the only property we looked at on multiple sites that included all of the costs up front. The owners were also very responsive in answering our many questions prior to our stay. We rented the house to have time with our adult daughters and grandkids to celebrate a family birthday. We really enjoyed the screened in porch and outdoor areas around the house, especially the fire pit where we made s’mores. The gated deck was appreciated with a couple of toddlers who wanted to be outside all of the time. The kitchen had what we needed to cook our meals. The neighborhood was peaceful. The house was comfortable for the six adults and two kids we had staying there, including ample space for dining both inside and out on the deck. We would recommend it to anyone looking to rent in the area. We wished we were able to stay longer to enjoy more of the amenities the community has to offer.

Arrowhead Dancing Divas

We're Dancemoms who were attending Nationals with our teens near Kalahari Resorts/Convention and stayed at a beautiful woodsy lake-beach resortt in Arrowhead. The home was spacious, clean and a quiet neighborgood . We had access to the amenities/activities and enjoyed home away from home . The hosts were kind and informative. Thanks so much Ken and Carrie!

Family Peace and Connection

Everything that was advertised about this property was true. It was beautiful! Very clean and well kept. You can tell the hosts/ owners care about their property, and the guests that stay in it. The details and added amenities show they get the hospitality industry. Their personal attention and immediate response show they get the kindness and caring aspect of hosting guests. We went boating, swimming, hiking, and enjoyed smores out at the fire pit. Deer visited us frequently with their quiet and gentle energy. We had time for family puzzles, meals, karaoke, and quiet reflective moments here. It was all anyone could want in a family vacation. We don't all live close so this was a treasure. One word that kept coming up in conversations was peaceful. This home and its environment was very peaceful. It's what is missing in the daily hustle and bustle of life. The Ferguson's get it, and they have created the perfect oasis here. We are already talking about coming back and making this our family "go to place." Thank you again Ken and Carrie!

Great location

The only issue we had with this trip was a leak in the ceiling of the master bathroom. Leak was not major. However, it did take time to clean up, left a bathroom unusable, and the dripping sound left the master bedroom unusable as well. We do not blame the owner who did respond quickly. However, it is shocking that there was no offer to rebate some of what we paid.

Wonderful

This house is awesome!! Everything per the description and more. The owners are super responsive and helpful. So very clean and it had everything we could have wanted from a super star fire pit to all misc items needed for a great trip. We didn’t want for anything, the level of thought the owners put into what is in the house was amazing. I highly recommend this house and we will rent it again!!

Fall weekend in the Poconos

We had a great time at Kenneth’s home. Our group consisted of me and my spouse, our 2 kids and the grandparents. All enjoyed the house. We have stayed at many rentals in Arrowhead Lake, and this house was the most clean and had the most items to get you started - garbage bags, coffee, soap, etc. It’s the little things like this, that really matter! We had a great time making s’mores at the fire pit. This house will be at the top of our list our next visit to the community. Thank you for a great stay!

Carie & Kens property was a great getaway and they were always available when we had questions. Rental was exactly as advertised and even more... very quiet community.... cant wait to rent from in the future but next time in the summer!...... tho kids had a riot at ski slope tubing

Beautiful area, quiet location close to the Gamelands

My Brother and I selected this property in order to be close to the gamelands, and it did NOT disappoint. We had a great visit, a quiet week, walking to the trails in the gamelands every day right from the house. We went food shopping at the beginning of the week, and enjoyed the quiet and solitude of being tucked away in the back of the development. We've stayed in Arrowhead lakes in the past, and I think we agreed that it was our best visit yet. We also agreed this would have been the most family friendly of the houses we've stayed at in Arrowhead lakes, and look forward to bringing our families next time!

Perfect house in perfect setting

Ken & Carrie's house was better than described. They were excellent hosts who were very responsive and accomodating before and throughout our stay. The house had everything we needed. The indoor space was lovely, the fireplace was delightful at night and the screened room was great during the day. The outdoor firepit area was also very nice. The property felt very private and was easy to get to once we learned the route. As great as it was in the fall, we'd bet it will be even better in the summer when the pools and lake activities are open. If we're back in the area we will definitely consider staying here again.
