« Bucket list experience as we were able to witness eruption 45 of Kīlauea. This cabin is in the perfect location to visit Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. If you are a light sleeper, bring some noise cancelling headphones as the coqui frogs make quite a bit of noise at night. »

« The property was in exquisite shape and the unit was very well kept. Great location! Just a short walk down a hill to beach access. Many restaurants nearby. Easy to drive to the unit. »

« Great place just down the road from the National Park. Took 5 minutes or so to get to the main entrance. The unit is part of the main residence, which was quiet, however you could hear the wood creek above you when the residence walks. Like all Hawaii you are subject to the roosters waking you up early but definitely recommend if you need a place to crash VERY close to the park. »

« We were very comfortable in this lovely, quiet home. Everything we needed was supplied. The bed was comfy and there was a well-equipped workout room. The location was about a 45 min. drive to Hilo, given the Merrie Monarch festival traffic. There were many things we wanted to do from the Pahoa location but we were there during a period of very heavy rains so instead we had indoor Hilo fun. Kilauea erupted when we were there but the highway was closed and we were unable to catch this...

« We spent 3 nights at Raul’s guesthouse which felt more like a very spacious condo! It is safe with a gated driveway and a backyard that never ends! The fruit trees, the flowers and the landscape are absolutely stunning. Now for interior, there are only positives critiques to be said here. Everything is high end, they provide you with so many things that it is easy to cook your own meals! They have lots of pots and pans, dishes etc… but no condiments. Every inch of this place is taken care of....
