Sitting on 5 private acres overlooking the Strait of Juan de Fuca, this newly renovated 3BR/2BA retreat sleeps six and provides all the comforts of home. Enjoy views of the Salish Sea, Vancouver Island, and passing ship traffic. Spend time outdoors on the expansive patio, relaxing in the hot tub, gathering around the gas fire pit table, and watching the diverse wildlife casually going about their daily routine.

Designed for relaxation and entertaining, this home features vaulted wood ceilings, large windows/glass doors, and an open layout that seamlessly fuses the indoors with the outdoors. The great room provides open spaces to dine, relax, and spend time together, with furnishings chosen to prioritize comfort above all else. On days the weather is not cooperating, turn on the double-sided fireplace and watch the storms roll through from the warmth of the living room.

The kitchen includes a 48" propane Wolf range and generous counter space. A full-sized French door refrigerator/freezer provides ample space for your grocery run. We have included everything from dining ware to spices so you do not need to worry about the details.

The home offers three bedrooms plus a dedicated office so you can sneak out early and still take care of your professional responsibilities. The office provides a quiet workspace and looks onto the home’s double‑sided fireplace. Bedroom 1 includes a California king bed, access to a covered deck with views of the grounds and the Strait of Juan de Fuca, and an ensuite ¾ bathroom with large walk-in shower with a rain shower head, handheld sprayer, and body jets. The two additional bedrooms feature queen beds, plenty of hanging space in the closet, and blackout shades.

A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo along with a frontloading washer and dryer ensures you have everything you need to keep yourself and your laundry clean from the days adventures.

A complimentary Level 2 EV charger with a J1772 cable and plug is available for all guests along with a NEMA 14‑50 outlet suitable for a second EV or small RV/Sprinter van. Please bring your own compatible cable or adapters if you need to use the NEMA outlet.

There is ample parking for multiple vehicles including a boat trailer, Sprinter van, and small RV. For smaller boats or kayaks, the Freshwater Bay boat launch is just a few minutes away. For larger boats or chartered fishing, the Port Angeles Marina is less than a 15-minute drive. Cook up your day’s catch on the Weber BBQ or store it in the dedicated versatile chest unit that can operate as a refrigerator or a freezer until you are ready to head home. Additionally, you are located minutes from Freshwater Bay for the best kayaking in the area, Salt Creek Recreation Area for exploring the local marine wildlife, Striped Peak hiking trails, Crescent Bay for stand up paddleboarding, the Olympic Discovery Trail Adventure Route for hiking and mountain biking, and Place Road, where the Elwha meets the Strait of Juan de Fuca for some of the region’s best surfing.

The entire home and outdoor space is for guest use. Secure storage for bikes, kayaks, or other equipment is available upon request in the detached garage.

Other things to note:
We love furry family members too, however, due to severe allergies that cause respiratory issues of a few people who clean and maintain the home, unfortunately they need to stay behind. Please understand that assistance animals, comfort animals, companion animals, support animals, and service animals are not allowed inside the home. If an animal is found inside, the reservation will be canceled without a refund, and a cleaning fee will be assessed.

Early luggage drop off available upon request.

No smoking or vaping use indoors, or outdoors on the decks or patio.

Primary Bedroom: Blackout curtains, California King bed, hamper, and nightstands with built-in extra outlets including USB/USBC and a charging stand. The walk‑in closet includes a portable fan, luggage rack, plenty of hangers, and drawers for storage. A pack‑and‑play with mattress pad and sheets also located in the closet.

Bedroom 2 and 3: Each room features blackout shades and a comfortable queen bed with nightstands on both sides, complete with convenient extra outlets, USB/USBC ports, and a charging stand. The closet includes a hamper, a luggage rack, a portable fan, and plenty of hangers, and storage space.

Washer and Dryer: Scent free washing detergent, scent free fabric softener, and scent free fabric sheets provided.

Bathrooms: Stocked with shampoo, conditioner, liquid body soap, hand soap, body lotion, Q-Tips, cotton rounds, feminine products, toilet paper, hair dryer, make up mirror, iron and ironing board, and first aid kit.
