Inside, the bright, open layout keeps the living room, dining area, and kitchen connected, so nobody gets stranded away from the snacks. Villa Verdie is tucked into a laid-back section of Crystal Beach, surrounded by colorful coastal homes and conveniently located near beach access. The sand and Gulf are easy to reach, so beach trips require very little planning which is exactly how vacation should work. Crystal Beach is known for its wide, drive-on shoreline and relaxed atmosphere, with casual restaurants, small markets, golf-cart rentals, fishing, mini golf, and other beach-town essentials nearby. Spend your days swimming, shell hunting, surf fishing, cruising in a golf cart, or mastering the ancient art of sitting in a chair while staring at the water. The free Galveston–Port Bolivar Ferry also makes a fun day trip, though waits can be longer during busy weekends and holidays. This is a casual coastal community rather than a polished resort district, complete with salty breezes, sandy feet, and a wonderfully slower pace.

A car is the easiest way to get around Crystal Beach and the surrounding Bolivar Peninsula, especially for restaurants, shops, and attractions along Highway 87. Once you’re settled in, golf carts are a popular way to cruise around the neighborhood and travel to the beach, and several local companies offer daily or weekly rentals. Vehicles and permitted golf carts may also drive directly onto many sections of the beach, making it easy to bring chairs, coolers, and other beach gear. Guests arriving through Galveston can take the free vehicle ferry to Port Bolivar, though lines may be longer during summer weekends and holidays.

Certain sensitive information may remain hidden until required steps, such as payment or the check-in form, have been completed.

A cargo lift is available for an additional $75 access fee and is intended only for transporting luggage, groceries, and other approved items. It is never to be used as a passenger elevator, and no one may ride, sit, or remain on the lift while it is moving. Children may not operate or play near it. The gate must be completely closed and latched before use, and the lift should not be operated during storms, high winds, or whenever it appears damaged or unsafe. Guests are responsible for damage caused by misuse or negligence, and a separate acknowledgment may be required before access is provided.

The home accommodates a maximum of 10 guests, and only registered guests are permitted unless additional visitors have been approved in advance. Parties, events, large gatherings, and unauthorized guests are not allowed. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., so please keep music, conversations, and outdoor noise at a respectful level.

Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside the home. Approved pets are welcome with the applicable pet fee, but they must be included in the reservation. Please park only in the designated driveway and never underneath the house or too close to the support pilings. Exterior security cameras monitor the lower patio, upper deck, and beach-facing area for safety and security; there are no cameras inside the home.

Because the property uses a septic system, only toilet paper may be flushed. Please do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or other items, and do not pour grease, oil, or food scraps down the drains. The grill must remain in the designated downstairs patio area and may never be used on the upper deck. Please rinse off beach sand using the outdoor shower or hose, report any damage promptly, and lock all doors and windows whenever you leave and at checkout.

• Maximum occupancy is **10 guests**. Only registered guests are permitted at the property unless additional visitors are approved in advance.

• No parties, events, large gatherings, or disruptive behavior.

• Quiet hours are from **10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.** Please keep music, conversations, and outdoor noise at a respectful level.

• No smoking or vaping inside the home. Guests are responsible for additional cleaning or deodorizing costs caused by smoking.

• Pets must be approved, included in the reservation, and covered by the applicable pet fee. Please clean up after pets and keep them off furniture and bedding.

• Park only in designated areas. Do not park underneath the home, near support pilings, or where vehicles may block neighboring properties or road access.

• Do not tamper with exterior security cameras, locks, internet equipment, smoke detectors, or other safety devices. There are no cameras inside the home.

• The home uses a septic system. Flush **toilet paper only**. Do not flush wipes, paper towels, feminine products, or other items, even when labeled flushable.

• Do not pour grease, cooking oil, food scraps, or coffee grounds down the drains.

* Use the outdoor shower or foot-wash area to remove excess sand before entering the home.

* The propane grill must remain in the designated ground-level grilling area. Never use a grill on the deck, balcony, or underneath the home.

• Report damage, maintenance problems, or safety concerns immediately through the platform’s messaging system.

• Lock all doors and windows whenever you leave and at checkout.

Cargo Lift Rules

• Cargo-lift access requires a **$75 fee** and completion of the required acknowledgment.

• The lift is for transporting luggage, groceries, and other approved items only. It is **not a passenger elevator**.

• No person may ride, sit, stand, or remain on the lift while it is moving.

• Guests may briefly step onto the platform only while loading or unloading and while the lift is completely stopped.

• Children may not operate, play on, or remain near the lift without close adult supervision.

* Both gates must be fully closed and securely latched before operating the lift in either direction.

• Do not overload the lift. Make sure all items are stable and keep hands, feet, clothing, and loose objects away from moving parts.

• Do not operate the lift during storms, high winds, flooding, or other unsafe conditions.

• Stop using the lift immediately if it appears damaged, jammed, or is making unusual noises, and contact the property manager.

• Use of the cargo lift is at the guest’s own risk. Guests are responsible for damage or repair costs resulting from misuse, negligence, overloading, or unauthorized passenger use.
