The property is a duplex. This property was fine last year but we tried to rent the other side of the duplex this year and had to cancel after arriving because one of the 2 bedrooms had the entire floor removed. There was a pile of moldy rotten wood and trash bags next to the front door upon arrival and active construction in one of the bedrooms. The worker stated that there was a mold problem with the sinking floor and that they were removing the entire floor. There was a sign on the door to the bedroom that said "Do not use this room. Floor needs to be repaired. Can be dangerous". The owner only informed us of the issue on the check in day and not during previous messages back and forth prior to arrival. The yard and parking area also appeared much more trashy this year with dog poo everywhere and multiple stray dogs roaming around. The owner did provide a full refund without issue after we informed him that we would not be staying at this property given the conditions.
