A beautiful holiday in a wonderful city

We had a great time in Porto. The apartment is very central in Porto and you can walk to all the spots you want to visit. You have also bus connections, the metro station only one minute away and the central station Porto Sao Bento. The apartment has erveything you need for a nice stay. At night it can be a bit loud but only if you sleep with open windows.

Charming place!

The apartment was incredibly charming! It was a treat every single morning to have a coffee watch the street come alive. We didn't need to take the metro as we were so conveniently situated. It made me so happy to walk by the blue tiled chapel at the end of the street--really made us feel nestled in. Our host Francisco was the best! He is passionate about his city. He was so accommodating when our flight had us arriving late. We couldn't haven't asked for a better host!

Great location clean updated apartment

Perfect location to walk to everything we wanted to see. If you are not good at managing spiral staircase this is not the place for you. Modern bathroom is up the stairs. I would suggest hooks by the front door to hang wet jacket’s umbrellas. We did not use kitchen appliances. If light sleepers bring ear plugs some street noise from only pedestrian traffic. Windows do a very good job. There was no body soap, shampoo or conditioner for the shower/tub. We got in early so they did not have time to refill the coffee pods. I would stay here again. Perfect for my husband son and I. Host was responsive.

Great flat in convenient area

I spent two nights. Check-in was eqsy, and the host was helpful and gave a lot of useful information The area is lovely if in transition, meaning there is some construction you may hear (seems to be true of large parts of the city). Plenty of shopping, cafes and restaurants nearby. The Metro and a great food market are at the bottom of the block. I didn't spend much time in the flat other than sleeping, but it is nice, good A/C, a small kitchen. An altogether lovely stay, enjoyed the city very much.

Beautiful place in a great location

We had a great stay! Super clean and safe which we really appreciated. This place is beautiful and located right on Rua Sta Catarina which is the local High Street. If you stay here you have to try the Bolhao market at the corner and the Metro is right there as well. Great food and a beautiful renovated market. You can walk everywhere from here!

An Excellent Choice

My wife and I stayed for 10 nights in mid-September and could not have been happier. The apartment is as described and photographed, and the location is perfect for sight-seeing, eating and shopping around Porto. Additionally, the Balhão metro station is right at the end of the block, which makes getting around on the metro super easy. Pedro, the host, was very communicative and accommodating in meeting our needs, and as others have mentioned, helpfully provided suggestions for dinning and sight-seeing. We would definitely stay again.

Great location in the heart of shopping and restaurants. Easy to walk to many attractions within the city as well. Only complaint was we were given 2 coffee packets for a 4 day stay and the bathroom needed to be cleaned better.

PERFECT PLACE FOR OUR TRIP

The host is very kind and accommodating. He met with us immediately and recommended great spots close by. The unit is a beautiful spacious loft. Central Location

The apartment was wonderful. It was well outfitted, and the bed was comfortable. We were on a busy street which was convenient to stores and a great open market, Balhōa. The location also meant that it could be noisier with the musicians playing. I'm beginning to realize that the closer to town the more chance it could be noisy. Having said that, I would return to the apartment.

Great stay with Prime Location

We really enjoyed our stay at this property - it was clean, chic, and in am area of Porto close to shops, restaurants and a shopping mall (if needed). We were easily able to walk to Gaia and the waterfront but it is a bit of an uphill climb on way back but Uber is silly inexpensive if we needed. Very enjoyable stay
