This was a perfect spot to stay while spending a week in Porto. Close to everything but away from the crowds. Beatriz was amazing, super responsive and always ready to offer suggestions. The apartment itself was well-equipped to make simple meals. Great experience all round.

Gorgeous wee apartment
Perfect place to stay in Porto. Not far from the main metro station, Trinidade, approximately 20 minute walk. We were welcomed by Gil who gave us lots of great advice on how to make the most of stay. Lots of bakeries, restaurants and a Lidl right around the corner. A hidden gem! Definitely will be back!

Porto in October
We stayed five nights at this nice and quiet place. Apartment was clean and spacious. Patio was fun as the days were warm and we ate breakfasts outside. Nearby there are grocery store and bakery. Area was peaceful a bit outside of old town but everything is within reach.

I truly enjoyed visiting Porto largely due to the stay at Pause apartment made it easy with its amenities and location. There is plenty of space with seating area for you to lounge or to have breakfast and coffee with your family before your adventures in Porto. Marina was very helpful in giving us the overall idea of Porto with where to visit, dining options and more. When I visit Porto will definitely stay at Pause apartments again.

Wonderful Host
Marina was the best host from the start till the finish. She was very accommodating to make our stay was a pleasant one, just ask if there is something you. Apartment on the ground floor with patio was the best particularly with good weather which we can dinner there. We also loved the location that was close enough to everything/every where, by walking and/or Uber. We will definitely return to Pause Apartment when we return to Porto.

Great Host with Nice Apartment
The apartment was good and Marina, the property manager was very helpful and patient. Although she’s not there all the time, she responded to WhatsApp instantly. We ran out of bath gel & shampoo cuz cleaning staff forgot to refill, however Marina remotely opened one of the vacant units for me to get some shampoo & bath gel so that I could have it for shower, thought she was very considerate.

Great Porto Base
What a perfect base to explore Porto!!! The apartment was absolutely wonderful and had all of the things we needed to feel at home. It's a short walk to the center of town and I liked that we were in a quiet neighborhood. The streets are a bit dark at night around the apartment, but during the day, the area has a lovely local feel. Marina checked us in and she is so wonderful! She spent time with us to explain the areas of the city to visit and gave us restaurant suggestions. We really felt that we got the most out of our day & a half in the city because of her thorough overview of the city! She was also available for any questions we had during our stay and she really went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I highly recommend Pause Apartments!

Ancient and Modern
Pause apartments is an ‘ancient and modern’ property. Many of the original features have been retained. It’s akin to the Airbb business model. Fully equipped kitchen. The rooms vary in size, furbishment and building location. Be aware that the rooms facing the street suffer from traffic noise between 7am and 10pm. Also, not all rooms are air conditioned which in the summer months is necessary. Double check when booking about both these observations. The location is very good, Campanha rail station is less than a 15 minute walk. Travel from the airport is about 45 minutes on a direct metro line, walk from the metro station is less than 10 mins. Walk to central Porto is about half an hour or so. All in all a pleasant welcome and stay but pricing is high. I would say too high for what is offered and the distance to downtown Porto. As in Lisbon, it would seem the spirit and pricing of ‘boutique’ accommodation has also found its way to Porto.

Superb apartment
Superb apartment just 15-20 minute walk to centre of Porto with plenty of bars on the way. Local bar/cafes as well as a Lidl just around the corner. Will 100% be revisiting Porto and I will book this apartment when I do.

Très bien.
Le logement est sympa et moderne. C’est vraiment agréable. Le metro est petit peu loin mais ça va (env 800 m) pour aller dans le centre. A pied il faut env 1,7/2 km pour être proche de la vie de Porto. Le logement est équipé de À à Z. Vous n’avez rien à prévoir.

El apartamento es muy bonito y cómodo y estaba muy limpio. No tiene lavadora ni sala de estar, pero las butacas situadas en la cocina son cómodas para un ratito de lectura, por ejemplo. No tiene aparcamiento pero en agosto era fácil aparcar en la calle (parquímetro máx. 2h, de 9 a 19). Repetiría.

We’ve made a reservation for a basic flat. NONE of the pictures on the site was from the apartment we’ve got. It was a tiny place, without a/c (was mentioned). We’ve been traveling with our baby, and decided to take “a bigger flat” out of the city center ( it should be bigger than most of the hotel rooms), but unfortunately got a very disappointing place. I’ve tried to talk to the agent, to explain the situation ( there wasn’t enough room to hang some baby clothes after wash). He offered us to look for another place and to get a refund for the other nights. Bu the end we be got a partial refund (not clear how it was calculated) + found some bugs. So happy we moved to another place.

Unfortunately, you booked a basic typology expecting to get a patio apartment something we would gladly have done if those typologies were available at the time. Regarding your note about the apartment photos, there must be some mistake. Perhaps, with so many changes of accommodation, you are mistaking with other facilities, as the photos correspond to the apartment you booked. Despite our many efforts to help and find a solution, which you always declined, we allowed a full refund of the nights not spent at the apartment, charging just the stayed night. Please reach out to me directly if you would be willing to give us a chance to turn your experience around. It would be such a pleasure to personally welcome you back.

Excellent base to explore Porto and wider area.
An excellent stay from start to finish! My wife and I were welcomed warmly at check in at the apartment and supported fantastically by Gil, who was a huge help as this was our first trip to Porto. The apartment was beautifully clean and offered everything we needed for our 5 night stay. Apartment, bed linen and towels cleaned every other day. Restaurants, cafes and local amenities in the Bonfim area really close by with a Lidl and Continente supermarket just a couple of minutes walk away.

We had a really good stay at Pause Apartments. The guy who attended us when we arrived was super helpful and gave us the most in depth overview of what we should see and how to get there in the city as well as recommendations for anything we asked for. He also was very helpful when we had to leave the apartments. The apartment itself is gorgeous and spacious. It's a bit of a walk to get downtown but it is close to buses and metro to get downtown.

Very nice place to stay
The place was very nice, well located and well decorated. Was a very pleasant stay. There is no breakfast option. You need to watch out is there is need to leave the bags in the reception , that is not simple. The reception is not 24 hours.
