The hotel was conveniently located. Being across Trindade square it was easy to find when walking back to it. However, street noise at night was loud.

Had a great time here. Decent buffet breakfast for the price and I didn’t seem too fast about me making some sandwiches for my hike. Can’t complain.

Very nice hotel in great location. Decent breakfast and friendly staff. Would have given 5 stars but we were missing a shower screen door which meant water went everywhere after a shower. Surely this should have been sorted before allocating the room…

Lovely hotel in easy walking distance to all the main attractions of Porto. Friendly welcome and a lovely room. Good choice of fresh food at Breakfast, wish I could have stayed longer

Could be great.
This is new hotel that should have sorted out some of their issues by now. The front desk is totally unreliable. I took two tries to sort out the most simple tasks. No one seemed to know when the restaurant opened. The rooms are new and had lots of outlets for computers etc. What was missing was places to put luggage. The rooms are quite small and they put a useless table, chair and lamp when another platform for luggage would have been more useful. Breakfast is OK but not worth the price. Go across the street instead. The location is excellent, very near to restos and shops. Walking distance to the Metro and many sights. 3/5

I averted a disaster.
What should have been a wonderful experience turned out to be a near disaster. My friend and I arrived at the hotel. We arrived for check-in and I was told that the booking was for one person; and that in order for me to add my friend, there would be an additional charge of $50 per night. I explained to the woman there had been a mistake mostly due to the loss of an internet connection, however, I found out through American Express that the first booking had actually gone through, but because of their Fraud protection, they canceled the first realizing it may have been a mistake. I asked if she could please make an exception for the reasons stated above. Her answers were always company policies but never said whether an exception could be made. So I presented the question in a different way, How would you feel if you were me? Knowing that it was a simple error that could easily be corrected? By this time I concluded she was unwilling to assist me. I called Hotels.com and Amex, and they both called the front desk, She told Amex " I don't care if he cancels the reservation or not I will not be giving him a refund" I asked her if I could speak to the manager and she said she had already spoken to him, but I wanted to see the expression on his face, but before that, I said this's what happens when you are honest. If I had not mentioned my friend we would not be having this conversation and you'd have never known the difference. Think about the situation, you decide.

The perfect location to get to everything in Porto, whether tourist attractions, restaurants, cafes or shopping. The staff is very friendly and professional, the room was very clean and smells amazing. Highly recommend for your stay in Porto, it will make your trip more enjoyable and relaxing.
