« in 44 years of traveling around the world this was the worse and demeaning Hotel experience ever had( payment was made in advance BTW )! i cannot say anything about the accommodations because i never made it in!!! After an exhausting and temultuous trip to Potenza , my only concern was checking in , resting down my heavy luggage and preparing etc etc! however when i approached the door and tried to enter , there was no response or answer, i also tried to call a dozen times to no response! So...

« What a wonderful, quiet sanctuary with the modern facilities and amazing chef it also has the qualities of being able to visit Melfi, which is a wonderful town rich in history. This hotel is worth the trip and you will find you get far more than what you pay for. I highly recommend it. »

« Our stay at Masseria Straziuso - La Vaccariccia was an incredible surprise and success. Nestled in the countryside, the inn sits in the middle of a magnificent working farm. We were traveling with a three year old and he was enchanted with the variety of animals. The host could not have been more welcoming and informative. Overall, it was a wonderful experience! »

« I was looking for an authentic place to stay in Muro Lucano and Nonna's was it! You can walk to many places but know that there are many steps and hills. Grocery store a minute walk down the street. »
