Absolutely beautiful home, fit our family perfectly, was so awesome to have beach toys and bikes! However, the couch was so so so dirty, we allHad a hard time sitting on it. And rugs in the bathrooms were so dirty, avoided stepping on those for sure! Freezer in the kitchen kept being frozen shut so we kept our frozen food out in the garage. The giant tv burned out, but they were able to replace that so we could watch Christmas shows together! Yay! Overall a good experience!

The house was very comfortable. We were a party of 6 adults and 4 kids 5-11. Living area was large. Outside sitting near pool or out back near the golf course was enjoyed by all. Great access to the coast to watch sunsets

Amazing house with incredible view. We really enjoyed just hanging there having coffee looking out at the ocean and mountains. We loved to pool and all the other amenities as well. We would definitely book this place again.

Kawai with family

We had a nine day trip with her son and daughters and two infants. The house was clean and well-maintained. With exception of the main refrigerator was not working. The Home has 4 bedrooms with king beds with own bathroom. Small study is not air-conditioned but could be used for maybe additional one-2 persons. The pool is nice Nice functioning Weber grill. The garage has several bicycles and some snorkeling equipment, The Home is located on the sixth hole of the Makai golf course. A short walk across the course you can see the ocean and nice views of the sunset. Queen’s bath is a short walk but somewhat of a treacherous trail as it has tremendous mud and is very slippery. hanalei bay is a 15 minute drive but very easy to park. The one hotel is about 1 mile away.

Amazing spot! Perfect for our family gathering. My wife and I loved the location and view from the property. Our two teens and the two friends they brought loved the pool and the walkable beaches. My 79 year old mom loved the pool deck and spa. We had a great week!

Holidays 2023

My family stayed at Tradewinds for Christmas and New Years 2023/24. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home is perfectly set up and comfortable for 8 people. The location provides super easy access to all things North Shore. The host was very responsive. We would go back in a heartbeat. PS - the albatrosses nesting in the backyard was a very cool bonus!

Time for a fresh Breeze

Time stood still Every Morning, gazing at the mountains that were so beautiful they didn’t seem real.The home was clean, bedding was very comfortable and home was fully stocked with everything you’ll need. One of my favorite things was the gliding doors/windows on both sides of the living room, fully opening up to pool/ hot tube area and the patio on mountain side, allowing a fresh breeze to enter through the home. Another nice touch was the bikes located in garage. I hadn’t been on a bike since I was a child and it literally was a step back in time filled with happiness as the breeze flowed through my hair lifting up a full smile. There are some beautiful cliff views of the ocean maybe a mile down the road from home that we cycled to. Simon’s home perfect and he was also the best Host, Replying quickly with kindness towards any question/concerns we may have had. If you are looking for adventures to do don’t hesitate because Kaua’i may be small in size but has so much to offer as long as you willing to drive the distance. My group took on the full adventure and did it all, from ATV riding, taking a kayaking/hiking tour, mountain tubing down a river through caves tour, horse back riding tour, sunset dinner sail boat on na pali coast, a dinner luau, soaking up the sun/views on multiple different beaches, and lots of shopping. Truly thankful for the memories/time spent in Beautiful Kaua’i. Stay with Simon I promise you won’t regret it ☺️

Heaven on Earth!

My husband and I brought our 2 adult children, their significant others, my 73 year old mom and our 2 year old grandson to Kauai to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. When I found this home, I couldn't believe how perfect it would be and when I saw it in person- it lived up to every hope I had! This home was simply amazing! it is clean, has lovely ammenites and is beautifully decorated. I loved that we all had our own space yet a great main area the we could hang out in. Our family probably spent 6-8 hours in the pool everyday! The kiddie pool next to the hot tub was absolutely perfect for our grandson! You can literally be in the pool and look through the home at the mountains. The sunsets are incredible! We had fun with the bikes and rode to a near by food truck. Simon was wonderful to work with!! We are already talking about coming back to this beautiful home. If you are looking for paradise...book this place!! PS. Be sure to try out the outdoor shower- pure bliss!

Magical Vacation

The house was perfect for our family. Each couple had a lovely private bath and bedroom. The home was beautifully furnished and the kitchen was great for cooking. We had everything we needed and the property manager was very responsive. The home, view, pool and the whole experience was wonderful. I look forward to coming back to paradise.

Magnificent sunsets

The home is comfortable, modern and the kitchen is very well appointed. The beds are very comfortable and the garage is filled with bikes and toys to borrow during the stay. The pool and jacuzzi were relaxing and fun to enjoy every day after our adventures in the area. There are lots of good restaurants and shops close by, including a few places with live music in the evenings. Every evening we gathered in the back to watch the most beautiful sunsets and we loved watching the Laysan albatross’s in the grass, just off the back patio. It’s a very peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee as well. We were a group ranging in age from 25 to 75 and there was plenty of room for us all to spread out and enjoy ourselves. Over the course of our 9 day stay, we went on a sunset dinner cruise and saw lots of whales, helicoptered over the island, spent a day deep sea fishing and saw a Luau one evening. The owner was instantly available if we had any questions and very helpful in planning our trip! We would love to return one day!

Exceeded Our Expectations

This is our fourth time vacationing on the stunning island of Kauai, and this home is hands-down our favorite place to stay. It’s everything you’d want - a stunningly beautiful home with a perfect layout so guest feel at home upon first entering. Each bedroom is roomy with a full bath. There is a large open-concept living room/kitchen area for gathering while indoors. On top of that, the location is top-notch. When you sit on the back patio, you’ll have a breath-taking view of both the mountains and the ocean, as well as the golf course. We began every morning there drinking coffee and soaking in the tranquility. This home also just a quick walk to the path that goes to Queen’s Bath - a “must do” (weather permitting) in Kauai. In the front of the home is a lovely pool and hot tub that we all enjoyed each evening after exploring the island. Simon, the owner, is friendly and helpful. He’s quick to respond to any questions you may have about the home. Honestly, I could go on and on about this property. This home exceeded our expectations and made our time here so enjoyable. If you’re considering this home, run…don’t walk. Just book it and enjoy your stay!

1st visit to Kauai

The property was everything you could want. Fabulous Pool and spa, bikes, e-bikes, surf boards, body boards, snorkeling equipment! The host has not forgotten a thing! It makes being active and having the vacation of a lifetime where you don’t have to rent anything! The house is set up perfectly, with suites for everyone, we had family of 8! Also Simon the host is available and attentive as soon as you have a question or concern! Also wonderful recommendations on everything you could think of! Our family had a vacation to remember for many years!

Perfect Kauai getaway

Fantastic!

If you are questioning if you should rent or not…just do it. This place is incredible. The sunsets are amazing, the house is perfect. The two master set up is ideal for families sharing a home. Simon was the perfect host, very quick to answer questions. The pool heat was so helpful to make swimming for our little more enjoyable. Very close to some amazing beaches. Our kids had an absolute blast. This is the perfect Kauai house.
