We had a mixed experience with this stay.Resort: 4 stars Unit: 1 starThe property is excellent — well-maintained grounds, great pool, hot tub, and easy beach access. The lanai views were beautiful and the resort was a trip highlight.The unit felt dated and heavily used, and listing photos no longer reflect current conditions.Key issues:- Washer/dryer advertised but removed without notice — a key booking factor. The area showed visible water damage.- Bathroom dated with mold and mildew in the grout, yellow staining on tub and sink.- Kitchen outlet damaged and unusable. Stove dirty with foil-lined burner pans covering what appears to be rust on a very old appliance.- Debris on top of the refrigerator and inside cabinets.Carpets visibly stained throughout.- The pizza restaurant was decent, but cocktails were billed by ingredient — two Palomas meant separate charges for each component, inflating the bill significantly.The unit is managed by Vacasa, separate from the resort. Vacasa fell short on both unit condition and resolution — the partial refund did not feel fair given the issues experienced.The resort is a genuine positive — the unit needs a full refresh and accurate listing photos.
