We arrived at the property at 4 o’clock, and the cleaning team was still cleaning. There was a plumber fixing the sink in the bathroom. The property photos did not really show the condition of the property. It was very old and worn out. With much of the furniture, scuffed and scratched. There were odd rules about the security system that woke us up in the middle of the night with a false alarm. There was a beeping sound in a locked closet for the entire week we were there. The pool was filthy. Dirt settled on the bottom and the filter system didn’t run all week. We liked the location of the property and CADY was really hospitable. Just overall a little disappointed in the quality of the property for the money we spent.

We had the best time at Hideaway Villa! It was the perfect spot for my family of four. Cady was so accommodating and incredibly helpful, especially since this was our first time visiting. She provided great restaurant and beach recommendations!The house itself is fully equipped for a week-long stay—plenty of beach towels, chairs, floats, and lots of comfortable indoor space as well. We truly loved our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful week at this property. Our contact, Cady, went above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. She was extremely attentive - promptly answering all of our questions and offering helpful local information and guidance.As first-time visitors to the island, we appreciated how easy it was to get around. We rented a car and were able to explore different beaches during the day as well as enjoy several excursions. The house is very conveniently located - secluded and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the beach. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property!

We loved the Hideaway Villa. It was perfect for our family vacation. The house is private, but just a short walk to the beach. The beach and ocean are incredible. You can just float in the beautiful water for hours or go snorkeling or go on an outing. Our host, Cady, was friendly and very welcoming, and she communicated with us well. All in all, we were very happy with our stay and were sorry to leave such a beautiful location.

Great house and location.

The listing was very accurate. It was a great house and location! Restaurants you can walk to, a great beach 2 minutes away. Unfortunately the pool was cloudy the entire time. The cleaner came 2 days in a row, but said that the painters washed their brushes in the pool so that’s why it was cloudy. So we just dealt with it but Not ideal. And then there was also dogs that would come on the property at night. Some nights they were quite loud and playful. Definitely recommend leaving the outdoor lights on when you go to dinner, as they can be in the driveway at night. Overall we had a great stay!

Spring Break

Overall we had an “okay” experience with this property. Check in and communication with the property manager prior, and during our stay, was excellent. The issues we had were unfortunately mostly out of her control.The property overall is nice. The outside pool area and provided beach items were great for our kids. There’s a beach cart to assist with the short walk to the beach. Items on site; chairs, umbrella, beach toys, and a few snorkel masks. Beach towels also provided.The kitchen had everything needed and the grocery store was just a 5 min drive.There’s three total bedrooms with the master on the second floor. The downstairs bedrooms are cooled by window unit a/c’s that were wall mounted. They operated fine, but meant they turn on and off throughout the night when maintaining temperature. Not ideal for sleeping. Also, they only cool the bedrooms and not the bathrooms. There’s no bathroom ventilation which kept them quite warm.The biggest issue we encountered were dogs that barked all night. It was bad. They disrupted our sleep every night. There’s large a stray dog population, and unfortunately we had a half dozen or so dogs they stayed near the home. We never really noticed them during the day but barked from 9pm-4am most nights. We discussed with the property manager but really nothing she could do. The neighbors had dogs that may have contributed to the problem, but can’t be sure. Perhaps it was bad luck and they would move on in the future.

Fantastic Week in a fantastic property

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this classic Caribbean-style villa and it was truly an unforgettable experience. Nestled on a serene 1.4-acre property surrounded by lush local plants and trees, this villa offered the perfect blend of privacy and natural beauty.The pool area was a highlight of our stay! With ample seating and a well-equipped BBQ with a dining table on the pool deck, it was the ideal spot for relaxing and enjoying meals under the sun. The ambiance was tranquil, making it easy to unwind after a day of exploring. The kids had a blast and there is a nice shallow end for babyLocation-wise, you absolutely can’t beat it—just 246 yards away from the beautiful Grace Bay Beach, accessible via a quiet, paved road. It’s the perfect base for beach lovers who want to enjoy the sun and sand with minimal fuss.The villa came stocked with fantastic amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable. We appreciated the beach cart, umbrella, towels, and chairs, which made our trips to the beach effortless. Additionally, Cady, the host, was outstanding! She provided invaluable information on local grocery stores, dining options, and even where to buy fresh fish. The Beach Awaits!

We spent a total of eight days here and the location was excellent! Very close to the beach, very close to the grocery store and shopping. We felt very safe here. The home does need some new kitchen utensils, knives, oven sheet pans, etc, but we made do. The mattresses are all VERY firm, but again, we made do. Cady was an AMAZING host and very attentive. We would stay here again!

Above and Beyond!

The house is charming and just a short walk to the beach and the best snorkeling on the island. We had some issues that were beyond the control of the property manager and she was responsive, made sure things were fixed and that we were satisfied. We stayed at the Hideaway from 7/13-20/2024. Here are my takeaways.

Property Mgmt: Cady was fantastic! Met us at the home, walked us through everything. We had a few questions a few days in and she was easy to get a hold of via WhatsApp. We were scheduled to leave during the MicroSoft/CrowdStrike glitch and had to spend an extra day. Cady worked with us and took great care of us. Location: FANTASTIC! 15min from the airport. 5 min from the grocery store. 8 min from the shops at Grace Bay. 4 min WALK to the beach and some of the best snorkeling I've ever done. The Home: Let me preface this by saying, IMO, this is a budget-friendly property. It's got some age and it shows. The beds are thin and were uncomfortable, at least for us. There were worms in every room and every day. Have no idea where they came from or how they got in, but annoying. There's a section of security fence that's just missing. You'd need a machete to get to the home, but still. EVERYTIME you run water, be it the faucet, the shower, the washer, or toilet, a water pump would turn on and a "pump-pump-pump" sound would fill the home. Could be completely normal for homes in T&C, but that was annoying too. The heating coil in the dryer didn't work. Cloths just spun and spun. Overall, I don't thing I'd stay here again knowing what I know now. Could have spent a few more bucks and stayed at a resort. ....but that's just me. I'd give this place a 3 outta 5 stars.

Great visit at Hideaway Villa

We had a family of four adults and two kids at Hideaway Villa for a winter holiday and thought the house was great. Cady, the property manager was always available to answer questions and assist with issues. And the pool was perfect for a toddler - there’s a kiddie wading pool built into the deeper pool so both adults and kids could swim at the same time. Bedrooms we spacious too. We also liked the location - easy walk to the beach and easy drive to the grocery store and shopping. Would definitely go back and stay here!

Relaxing Stay!

We enjoyed a lovely November week at Hideaway Villa. House was perfect for myself, my husband, and our two grown children. The house itself sits back from the road and is very private for sitting on the deck or by the pool. It's a nice short walk down to Grace Bay to enjoy the sand and water there. We appreciated the beach chairs left at the house to take down to the beach with us. There is a decent place serving Mexican by the beach within walking distance. We also enjoyed Mango Cafe and the Fish Fry which were both a short car ride. The supermarket is not far as well. The only thing that you need to watch out for are the dogs as one of them absconded with one of my husband's tennis shoes that he had left outside lol. Thanks so much Cady!

The property was clean and fully stocked. It has ample security measures to make folks feel safe, even though the neighborhood was safe and secure. Overall property was clean and in good shape, Cady made the check-in process easy and had great communication with us by both phone calls and texting via What's App, short walk to the beach and Somewhere Cafe which was great for food & drinks, this was our first time visiting Turks & Caicos, we loved it so much we definitely plan to return and we would stay at the Hideaway Villa again

Very very nice; well landscaped. Only issue was has was that some of the appliances were older and the dryer did not work. LOVED how close it was to the beach. Gorgeous outside and inside the property. Owner very helpful! Would stay again!!
