„Unkomplizierte freundliche Begrüßung durch den Gastgeber. Das Appartement war geräumig und sauber mit einer gut ausgestatteten Küche. Der Pizzaofen könnte vielleicht mal eine Reinigung vertragen. Ein Parkplatz direkt beim Haus stand auch zur Verfügung. Nach einem kleinen Spaziergang kommt man mit der Fähre direkt nach Downtown Halifax! Empfehlenswert!“

„This apartment is the ideal location to explore St. John's. Next to all interesting places, from Signal Hill to The Rooms and George Street etc. It is very individual and charming. Katie is very helpful and obliging. We had a lot of fun being there, sitting on that marvellous terrace looking over the harbour to The Narrows and to Signal Hill, We really recommend that apartment.“

„We found Chipman Hall to be such a cozy and charming historic space. The bedding was very comfortable and we had a restful sleep. The entire space had everything we needed with a little kitchenette and spot to relax. Note to visitors, the lot behind the hotel is free on weekends after 6pm, as is the red rose lot nearby, as long as your vehicle is moved by noon, the following day. We loved our stay and will definitely return!“

„The place was exactly as it was represented. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Location was nice.As stated on site, there are stairs. If you travel with someone who has difficulty with stairs, be aware that they are steep. Overall great stay with a helpful host. “
