Great location, great place but mold issues
Starting with the positive: Our usual go-to VRBO listings were booked so we decided to try some place new. The complex is gated so it made it feel safe. This condo is on the ground floor which made it really nice. You can walk right out to the pool which is was clean and decent. Close to town for food and close enough to the beach to walk down to. There’s a little store in the complex that has almost anything that you need - dishwasher pods, soda, water, snacks, etc. AC worked great.
Now with the negative: there was mold in both bathrooms. The master just had a little but the other bathroom had quite a bit of black mold and not the kind that just wipes off. Drywall will need to be removed. I messaged the property manager who assured me that it was not up to their standards and apologized but it’s not the kind of mold that grows overnight. It was definitely a few weeks old at least. They had plenty of time to check it before we went. Now if that’s resolved by your stay, the only other negative was the couches. They were extremely worn and uncomfortable. You could feel the bar in them no matter where you sat. We much preferred the lawn/beach chairs to sit on inside that they had for us there.
