I would like to share my experience with this apartment, as it may be relevant to your selection process.At first glance, the price suggests a high-end, premium property, and the photos accurately represent the unit. The location is approximately 400 meters from the beachfront, and as indicated on the VRBO listing, there is a fairly steep slope for the final 200 meters leading to the building (roughly 100 meters of vertical gain). This was not an issue for us and was clearly disclosed.However, several significant problems occurred during our stay.Upon arrival around 6:00 p.m., after a long international travel day, my family and I were required to wait approximately 45 minutes for the check-in agent to arrive. The owner was aware of our landing time, and I notified him of our location immediately upon landing, giving more than one hour of notice. This delay was the first issue.Upon entering the apartment, there was a strong unpleasant odor, which we believe was caused by humidity. After dinner, we went to bed, and in the master bedroom the smell was overwhelming—specifically coming from the pillows. The following morning, I inspected them more closely due to the severity of the odor. To my disgust, I discovered that the pillows were heavily molded. Photos clearly show the mold, which had been directly under my head while sleeping. You can imagine my distress upon realizing this. I immediately informed the owner, yet it took an additional two days for replacement pillows t
