The little things count, and the lack of them as well.
My experience at this beautiful property is mixed. It's very close to the airport, so you hear the jets most of the day, they stop at night. The property is very nice and well-kept. An on-site restaurant is open for drinks and food and the staff is friendly. The 6 pools are outstanding, but only one is heated, which makes one more crowded. The beach is great for long walks. My 2 bedroom condo was clean, but the dryer was full of towels, etc., I had to fold everything. The kitchen is stocked with the usual but was missing a coffee maker. It was replaced when I reached out. It is the cheapest one possible, the warming plate does not turn off and will cook your coffee. Getting an answer from them is a slow process, usually 24 to 48 hours. There were no pool towels and no wine glasses. The oven is full of pots and more, and needs to be moved if used. The outside table is black stone and gets very hot in the sun. The thermostats (there are 2) do not work properly, and after many attempts to engage the digital terminal, you can only increase the temperature to 22 degrees or just over 71 Fahrenheit. This is too cold in a hot environment and a waste of electricity. The place has a sewer smell as there are no traps in the floor drains; open the windows, but then it gets hot. The property manager does not confirm your room until a few days before arrival, a little disconcerting.
There are many good restaurants and a great market every Thursday at the marina; a 20 min walk.
