« Pas de courant à notre arrivée nous avons passé la 1ère nuit sans électricité. Le matin la ligne était remise. Une climatisation n'a pas fonctionné pendant notre séjour malgré notre demande de réparation. »

« Tout est conforme à ce qui était annoncé. Arturo et Maribel sont des hôtes très attentifs, chaleureux et bienveillants. La plage est belle mais la mer est très agitée, presque dangereuse à certains moments. La ville de Puntarenas est banale. Il vaut peut-être mieux louer une auto que de payer le gros prix pour des excursions. Somme toute nous avons passé une très belle semaine en famille. »

« My family of 4 had such an incredible time hanging out in the heated pool at the home with the spectacular views overlooking the Monteverde Cloud Forest, that it was tough to find inspiration to leave the property to go do other things. « Beautiful property. Big bedrooms, clean bathrooms, spectaculer views. No hot tub. The kitchen could have been cleaner (moldy cutting boards, dirty drawers and only four coffee cups)Location was good. 5 minute walk to the beach. The property manager was very attentive. »

« Villa Golondrina is in a lovely location, with great views. It was clean and comfortable, with modern conveniences. The hosts left a nice collection of eggs, bread, etc. Carlos was great to work with. The signage to the location once we got close to San Luis was quite good. Lots of birds in the yard, on neighborhood roads, and on the trail to the river. The one potential drawback is that it is more in San Luis than in Monte Verde, and the road can be rough. « First impressions were wow what at a great space/location/beach/pool. As the stay progressed we noticed we some deficiencies. Some amenities that would’ve made our stay more enjoyable are: more bath and beach towels, face cloths and mats. Having a outdoor bbq made up for lack of larger pots. As well there were no pot holders. Cleaning supplies provided were inadequate. Having a separate laundry room was great, but the dryer wasn’t drying. « This the 3rd time we have stayed at this villa. The villa was excellent for our family who visited at different times over the 3 months. Great neighbors over this time and the Los Delfines area offers lots of great choices for activities. There is a lot of development occurring so construction activity is constant. On-site dining is limited to El Rancho which is good and very amenable for owners and guests. Property management is professional and timely with responsive to any questions or issues...

« We had a great time at this home. Carlos was an amazing host who went above and beyond with friendly communication and problem solving. This home has a "to die for view," and beautiful interior. Make sure you have a 4x4 and preferably off-road tires. If you don't have a 4x4 do not book this place. Overall amazing stay! »
