The Cabin itself was inviting, and we found cabin #3 easily among the dozen cabins located in a close community and within view of Highway 16. The highway noise was ever present throughout the day. Parking was limited but close to our cabin. The porch was nice and relaxing and the stairs were fine but we were not prepared to shovel snow nor were the stairs cleaned off by management. We would have happily cleaned them off but with what? A mystery flyswatter did appear the day before. Bathroom was fine but lacked usable surface space. Shower was a very cozy one-person unit. Regarding sleeping quarters this is where the disappointment set in. There were two small bedroomsas advertised but with full size beds which filled the room leaving minimal space for movement. Again, no storage. You will need to live out of your suitcase. Even hooks on the walls were few for four occupants. Really this is a cabin for two or three. We had four adults. Besides the two bedrooms was a fold out futon which was fine but this limited movement in the common space. The kitchen was at best a kitchenette with a bar island and four stools, there is no table. There is no stove but rather a double burner hotplate with detachable griddle. Microwave was fine, coffee maker and toaster all worked. Silverware was not clean. Again, limited space in kitchen required constant shuffling of gear. Management should rethink and improve storage space. Overall, the cabin suited our needs, but SPACE IS LIMITED.
