the cozy house on 5th

The Cozy House on 5th was our first home, where we started our family, and we’re delighted to share it with you! Carefully curated to be comfortable, beautiful, convenient and family-friendly, it’s just minutes from downtown Rapid City with quick access to the highway taking you to Mount Rushmore, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, and other Black Hills staples - it’s the perfect home base for your adventure. We hope you’ll make lasting memories here, just as we have!

Our home features a nice size yard with outdoor dining, a full remodeled kitchen, cozy living room with a very large flatscreen tv, a full bathroom with shower and bathtub, and two bedrooms: one master with a king bed and one guest room with a twin bed. Each room has been thoughtfully designed with your comfort and convenience in mind - all home essentials have been curated so you can really feel like home at our Cozy House on 5th. We’ve done almost all of the work on this home ourselves, so it’s very cute but not perfect! There are some paint touch-ups needed, a few outlets don’t work (additional power strips are placed around strategically and conveniently to make up for those!) and the yard is being reseeded summer of 2026.

The yard has been redone with a picnic table area, fire pit area, a patio and lawn (*as of August 2026 the lawn portion of the yard is being re-seeded, so the lawn will not be usable until after November 2026 - the picnic area, fire pit and patio will still be available for use).

There are 5 parking spaces on the house’s gravel driveway, plus additional free adjacent street parking if needed.
