« Bring earplugs &/or white noise. You’re sharing a home with the hosts, so sounds from their living area leak past interior doors. Kudos to them for being willing to share an attached dwelling with strangers — I don’t think I could! Other things to be aware of: You may be charged $25 extra if unable to check in at the appointed time. The short access road is bumpy, dusty gravel. Otherwise, all routes are paved. « The house is nice and open and suited our family’s needs. The hot tub wasn’t really usable as it had algae in it. Not a big deal, but the kitchen could use some baking pans/pyrex, etc. We baked pasta in a grill pan. The biggest issue was communication with the hosts, which largely seems to be automated responses. Prior to booking, I asked for an hour late check out and was approved. « Great little quiet spot in the heart of North Fork. The host is very polite and is close by to answer any questions you may have. Best part for me was the front porch as I enjoy sitting out in the evenings. It is a great place I would definitely book in the future. »

« This little house was simply adorable. From the bunnies and turkeys to the front porch. It was perfect after long days in the park. Excellent location to multiple entrances. My only suggestion would be to add blackout curtains, especially for visitors coming from the east coast. It stayed light so long and it was difficult to fall asleep.
