« Our family had a wonderful stay at the Ponderosa Chalet. The hosts were very communicative and available to answer any questions. We enjoyed relaxing on the patio and grilling in the evenings. The sunsets and stargazing from the cozy hot tub were memorable highlights of the trip! We’d definitely return, and highly recommend for families seeking a spacious house for get togethers. »

« It was a cute house, very spacious! They are great at communication. It is a drive however to Yosemite valley. About an hour and a half. They stock really well on dishes. And they do provide coffee and filters but you will need sugar and creamer if you use those. There’s no broom to clean up with during your stay. That is something I wish they offered to leave out, even a vacuum for any messes that could happen during the stay. There was one bottle of multi purpose cleaner and one roll of paper...

« We were really pleased with the accommodations, we had everything we needed and then some( cookies and coffee), clean, bed comfortable, nicely decorated. Very country like, rural setting which we love. Owners were very attentive to make sure we were comfortable. It is near Bass Lake, we ate at Ducey’s 3 times that week because the setting was so perfect and food so good. « We had a nice stay and was not too far from Yosemite Valley. This cabin was better than I was expecting. It's big and had vaulted ceilings. We used the hot tub each night after a day of strenuous hiking up mountains. We also used the washer and dryer. The futon/pull-out couch in the living room was extremely comfortable. « We enjoyed our stay, the location was great not too far from the freeway but far enough away you were not in the “city”. The owners were very accommodating to us. They even had toys for my three year old to play with outside. The outdoor playground was great. The trailer was well kept, and ready for us when we arrived. It had a large cover on top to help it when it was sunny. We were happy to find this gem for our 4 night stay. I would book with them again if I return to this area. »
