Several small issues that were annoying. Hot water lever turned so hard it felt like it could break. Bedside light didn’t work. Door was hard to unlatch unless door was pushed into jamb while turning the handle. Bathroom vanity light was auto on and extremely bright. Would come on in the middle of a nighttime bathroom break. Manual shutoff only last about 30 seconds. Auto on shut the lights off before showering was finished leaving me in the dark. Staff was friendly and courteous which made up for the small problems.

I had an enjoyable stay. My room was very quiet. I was on the 3rd floor. No one above me. The only thing is the room could use an update in the bathroom. Tub was getting stained and wall paper was coming off the walls. Room 311. Had a good breakfast 😋

Overall it was a nice property and I would stay there again. I have stayed here 2-3 times before on just 1 night stays for work. The only issues I have on this trip were minor and I didn't notice any issues on my previous stays. One of the lights beside the bed didn't work and the lamp by the window only worked if you had the plug at the right angle in the outlet. The tub/spout assembly in the tub shower was loose when I was adjusting the water temperature. It wiggled back and forth a good 1/2-1" and water is definitely getting inside the wall. The last issue was the striker for the back door is broken so anyone can come in without a room card. I think these are minor issues and could be fixed quickly and easily. Like I said, I would stay here again.

I have stayed twice a year for the last 15 years. It has always been a great experience. They have done a lot to improve the property. Bring you bathing suit for the jacuzzi and the sauna!

Walls are a little thin. Could use a little updating. Reserved a room with a king bed got a room with two twin beds. I would stay again.

My apologies that the walls seemed a little thin, they are insulated for sound but unfortunately sometimes that isn't enough. Our first room was dirty, and there were bugs, maybe ladybugs? Lots of them. We moved to another room and it just wasn’t clean and the bathroom electrical outlets didn’t work. The rooms definitely need updating and better cleaning.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Ecolab just completed an all building interior and exterior spray specifically for the common boxelder bugs which we had a couple get through the windows. We are checking the bathroom outlets as well for any that might not be working properly. All of us hope you will consider staying again and I promise things will be much better. Best regards.

Enjoyed our stay at Redwood Lodge. Beds were comfortable. Only complaint was the lighting in the room, Not many lights and the ones that were there were to bright and no way to turn them down.

The carpet was stained in our room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very nice. The couch, in the room, was nice as well. The larger lights by the bed didn’t work (that’s alright the smaller lights worked). The shampoo was rejuvenating. There was nobody at the front desk (a bell to ring would be helpful). The staff were friendly, very helpful, and kind. The breakfast was wonderful with several options (cold and warm). Great eggs, sausage, waffles, muffins… The rooms aren’t very sound proof. Could hear foot steps from the room above us, which woke me up in the morning (didn’t hear anything during the night). Nice eating area and very welcoming fireplace area. I would stay here again.

Redwood Lodge is in my hometown, so when I go back, I always stay here. I like that the breakfast is included. The staff is friendly and helpful. Overall, it's relatively clean. The area outside the building could use some cleanup attention. The room(s) could use a deep clean (carpet edges & corners, sanitize counters). A/C worked great and the rooms have amenities.
