The location, size, and cleanliness of the house/unit was great. The person assigned as a contact, responded quickly. Unfortunately, general maintenance is lacking. The front porch needs boards replaced and needs to be painted. The furniture shows a great deal of wear, especially the mattresses, which show indentations. The upstairs mattresses need to be replaced. The upstairs showers are difficult to access because you have to climb into the jetted tub, which could be an issue for some people. The carpet on the stairs and upstairs either needs to be cleaned or replaced because it shows wear and stains. The kitchen cabinets show a great deal of wear. The silverware was limited - only a few forks (mixed with salad and dinner forks) and spoons. The towels did not match, which is okay, but it doesn't give a good impression of caring for the property. It's the little things that show lack of maintenance, like a toilet seat that should be replaced and a broken towel ring. Check in was not smooth. You must go to the welcome center for the subdivision first to pay for parking and show a registration pass. The first pass that was texted to us on the day of arrival was for the wrong registration, which they quickly fixed, but the correct registration listed a different address, which was confusing. While we liked the location, we will probably look for a different property if we return to Branson.
