„Wir haben uns im First Colony Inn sehr wohlgefuehlt. Wir wurden mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen und mit verschiedenen Getraenken zur Happy Hour verwoehnt. Auch das Fruehstueck war liebevoll zubereitet. Das First Colony Inn war sehr gemuetlich und heimelig. Wir koennen es waermstens empfehlen. “

„This place is a gem! Just a convenient eight miles from the town of Cape Charles, this 3 room inn sits on its own private beach in its own little oasis of peace and beauty. The room was comfortable and well appointed, and the host is very friendly, helpful and welcoming. I really felt like a guest in someone’s home. „Amazing is all I can say!!! The property was beautiful. The owner greeted us and gave us a tour, etc-our room, common areas, and where breakfast would be served. Speaking of breakfast- we were offered (and I ate) a delicious frittata with a yogurt parfait. We enjoyed our stay and we will again.“

„I really enjoyed our stay here. We were the only guests that night. The only thing I didn't like was the Deckside room has a nice jetted tub which makes for a really bad shower. Water runs around the edge of the tub and onto the floor. I didn't like mopping the floor. The room is beautiful and the house is charming. The breakfast was fine and the proximity to the beach and the pier was wonderful. I would stay again.“

„We loved the Inn. We were greeted by Hillary who checked us in, showed us our room and brought us some prosecco! The room was huge, and the bathroom was very nice The bed was extremely comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again.“

The Corolla room had a perfect private balcony and was the best spot for a short beach trip with my dog. The owners left out snacks for breakfast and happy hour which was the sweetest touch! „Wir hatten ein sehr schönes Zimmer. In Gehdistanz zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten von Colonial Williamsburg. Toll war auch der Kaffee früh morgens vor dem Frühstück, da wir eher Frühaufsteher sind. Die Gastgeber waren beim Frühstück präsent und erklärten alles sehr gut. Wir würden wieder dort übernachten. Schön war auch die Back Porch, wo wir manchmal unseren Kaffee tranken.“
