« We’ve stayed here multiple times and normally the facilities are fine, however when we arrived an 18 wheel was in the parking lot with its generator on. It stayed there all night and kept the entire hotel up. It finally let early in the morning at about 5am. This was unacceptable for anyone staying at the hotel. »

« The Refuge Inn is a very special place to stay. It is the closest Inn to Assateague island. The staff welcome you and are so kind and pleasant. The Inn has an indoor pool and sauna. They also have an inexpensive bike rental on the other side of their parking lot. Family run it is beautifully decorated and maintained motel. « My husband and I typically lodge at this property when we’re in the area. It’s located near the airport, eateries of all kinds (Olive Garden is just a few steps away from the hotel.), shopping centers, and I-64 (towards Richmond and Virginia Beach, either direction). We always feel safe on the property and in our room. Breakfast is continental and nothing to rave about. Parking can be a hassle, especially in the evenings and on weekends.
