« We had an amazing stay, this home goes above and beyond to meet all your needs, many before you even know what you need! The home is gorgeous, with space for everyone to sleep, relax, eat and enjoy the view. We loved sitting in all the porches and enjoying the views, usually with a freshly brewed coffee or tea. We stayed here for our son’s VMI graduation, and I would recommend this location to anyone with an event in the area. »

« My husband and 3 kids were traveling for a full family trip. To shorten our drive for the kids, we booked this place and missy had all details ready to go on check in day! The hot tub was perfect for my kids and the fire pit was perfect for my husband and I! Missy’s cozy house really allowed my family to wind down before the next long drive. « The home served our purpose; clean and accessible to VA Tech. The house needs some work; however, it was very clean and was comfortable for a quick over night trip. Parking was fair and the home is in a depressed area of town. Loved the small touches (peppermint patties!). »

« The house mainly worked out great for our 2 night stay. It was easy to find, parking was right on front of the house, check in was easy using a smart lock, kitchen had what we needed, beds were comfortable and it was a quiet neighborhood. The only minor negatives were that the upstairs AC unit (or some other similar appliance) made a fairly audible hum right above the dining table but luckily that noise didn't reach the bedrooms else it would have made sleeping difficult.
