Great location

The location was perfect. Used the kayaks and small boat, sat in the porch, nice respite from Cooperstown activities. Had to buy basic condiments as there was no oil, mustard, ketchup, etc. for the most part though, great spot and enjoyed our stay Property manager was easy to communicate with and made this process easy. If we’re back in Cooperstown from Alaska, we’ll be back to this lake house.

Fabulous Accommodations

Had a great time staying at Awesome View. Everything came as advertised. A great spot on the lake with stunning views and a beautiful, cozy interior. Really enjoyed working remotely from the kitchen, looking out onto such a tranquil setting. Also took advantage of the kiosks to explore the lake. Appreciated our hosts leaving listings for restaurants in the area and communication with them during our trip was excellent. Highly recommend this destination to other travels.

We really enjoyed staying in this rental house. It was 25 mins away from Dreamspark but worth the drive. Only con is that the drive at night from the park is a little challenging as you see lots of deer and its pitch black. But again, I would stay there again. The kids enjoyed the kayaks and fishing rods available to use. I could stare at that lake view for days on end.

So Peaceful!

We had a wonderful time at this property. They were not kidding that the view is awesome! The fishing is also wonderful as well and we caught many fish (and we threw them back of course😊). The property was very clean as well. It's a little bit off the beaten path but definitely not hard to find. Diane was a wonderful hostess!

Another Great Trip

Peaceful

The property is well maintained, the owner and neighbors were super friendly, and the ability to use the kayaks and row boat on the lake were an added bonus! We were there for Cooperstown and it is a 25-30 min drive to Dreams Park, but it is a lovely drive. The only drawback to the property is there is no bathroom on the second floor where both of the bedrooms are located. Other than that the property was pretty much perfect.

Better than the pictures

This was our first vacation as a little family and our first trip to this region, but it won't be our last. We loved this house; the view is more than awesome, the accommodations were cozy, and the accessibility to attractions like Cooperstown were great. Diane is a great host - she even left her blender for me to use! Definitely bring bug spray (we got eaten alive by mosquitoes) and your own knives (the kitchen knives were very dull) if you plan to do some cooking. But other than that, we would 100% stay here again.

A little slice of heaven

This place is more than an awesome view. Its a beautiful home situated on a little slice of heaven. The house was spotless. Stocked with essentials and then some. We were able to use the row boat and get some fishing time in. We also had success from the dock even though the water is shallow near the shore. Only 6 minutes from Price Chopper and a pizza place that delivers. 20 minutes from Cooperstown. 30 minutes from Rail Explorers rail biking. All of which we found very convenient. The owners were super cool. They gave us our space but we welcomed their company. The company that manages this property listing has answered all of our questions within a reasonable time and was very helpful. I highly recommend this spot for your next vacation or weekend getaway.

Definitely an awesome view

Had this place for our vaccination vacation. It was a great stay. House was very clean and fully stocked with everything needed for a week away. Do yourself a favor and get out on the lake, we rented a couple kayaks and the wildlife was just incredible. This place really lives up to it's name.
