« This is an easy place to stay. It’s as advertised - new and very clean. When we booked we were trying to decide between a place in road town on the hill or this location. As we went through the week - we were so happy to stay on the West end of the island. Sopers Hole is a short 10-15 drive, Smuggler’s Cove is 10 minutes, Long Bay Beach is literally over the hill and Cane Garden bay is about 20-25 minutes. « We got into Tortolla a day before hopping on our Catamaran trip, and stayed the night. There were 6 of us. Roger was so quick to answer any questions and offer advice… very accommodating! He arranged driver to pick us up at the airport, stop at a grocery and bring us to the place, who then was able to take us out to dinner later that evening. « A home away from home. Inge and Rose have made their vision a mission to cater to guests. A true relaxing Shangri la. Exceptionally clean and superbly appointed. The use linens that have been in Inge's family for 3 generations. A 5min walk to the best public beach I've ever seen (even after many beaches in the Greek islands). Breakfast is amazing. An outstanding cook (Alex) is always on spot. Inge makes it a priority to ensure guests are taken care of, even ordering dinner for us when needed....

« This property has an amazing view! The open air concept is great except for one major thing - mosquitos. They never let up the whole time we were there. Access to the property is by a very steep rough driveway. It was very difficult with our small rental. One should have an all wheel drive car except the owner doesn’t allow SUV’s due to their size and limited space for parking. We had one garbage bag for the can- no extras for 5 nights. « While planning a last minute getaway, We were lucky enough to find Villa Del Mar!! The owners were great to work with and the caretaker was always available to take care of any needs!!!
