« We had a wonderful week at this beautiful riverfront home! The ammenities are wonderful! The weather was quite rainy, but we caught some sunny times to enjoy the river between showers. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed shooting pool on the round table. Thank you to the owner for the prompt response in having a fallen tree removed! The tree fell during a storm and we were thankful no one was hurt and it did not damage the house or our vehicles. The nice man who removed the tree did quick work...

« We arrived at night to the cabin, trust the google map directions as clicked from the website. The key was in the lockbox as instructed and we were able to settle in nicely. When we woke up we were surprised to find an enormous green pasture behind the cabin with the river just behind the pasture. It was so beautiful! « This was our second stay at Riverside Retreat and we hope to come back in the future. The cabin is clean, it has a great open floor plan, and the bed is super comfortable. The best feature of the property is the back porch. The view of the river is lovely and we spent hours watching the ducks, kingfishers, and hawks. Our dogs were in heaven, too! »

« Great stay in Buckhannon, only a couple blocks, for a very short walk to Main Street. There was plenty of space for all of us inside and out, and the yard was nice. Everyone said their beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The house is really nice inside and the A/C worked great. We were very comfortable and enjoyed our stay. Dale, our host was very responsive to our questions and needs. Would definitely stay again. »

« We very much enjoyed our stay which was booked for the Mountain State Forest Festival. It’s just a short drive to Elkins, so the house was conveniently located and the hosts provide a fully stocked kitchen, linens, and even a few games to play. Host was very accommodating. If you aren’t accustomed to sleeping on a bamboo pillow, you might consider bringing your own. This was a wonderful place stay - highly recommended! »
