The only word that can describe the hosts and the property is outstanding!!! Right on the beach. Over the top home with every appliance you could ever want. Very comfortable beds. Wood firepit. Small but wonderful hot tub. Did I mention the game room? It was hilarious watching 60 year olds playing Guitar Hero. I highly recommend!!

Best ever discovery.

We are happy grandparents who spent time with their grandkids and their parents. This is the PERFECT home for it. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Plenty of everything. It is gorgeous, clean and in the best location on the beach. Oh, and that arcade room is to die for!!!

Howard Family Getaway!

For the past 12 years we have rented summer beach houses. And this year Rockaway has been voted by my family as the best beach house ever! We had ages 5-68 and there was something for everyone to enjoy! Beautiful home, fully stocked kitchen, high end amenities, and an awesome arcade room! Actually, every single room in the house looks exactly as the online pics. We had a wonderful week right on the beach with wonderful views of the ocean, sand, it was all perfect. Our hosts were wonderful, attentive and really wanted us to enjoy ourselves for the week we were there. Rockaway Beach was friendly, we enjoyed meeting people. We especially enjoyed eating at the tiebreaker. The owners were nice and the food was delicious! I can’t say enough about this place, we all hated to leave. But we will be back!

A gem of a place

I almost didn’t want to write this review because it will make it harder to book in the futureThere are vrbos and then there are VRBOs. This is a VRBO. Fully loaded. All the kitchen is new and loaded with all sorts of toys to make memorable meals. It was worth every penny. When it stormed or it was dark, we had the arcade. When it was cloudy, we had the fireplace. All other times, the beach. This was pricey, but if you want a one stop place, this is it.Double fridges for food, double dishwashers, double washing machines, double hot water heaters. Double the fun. Espresso machine and a nice range for cooking while you watch the waves from the kitchen.Clean and comfortable. Felt like home.

Simply Stunning: A Trio of Extraordinary!

This Rockaway Beach House is simply stunning! 1) The HostsThe hosts could not be nicer people. They're very proactive with their communication and even have Youtube videos to explain how to opperate the ammenties of the house. These hosts genuinely cared about us as guests and our experience. By far the BEST hosts we have ever worked with. I can not thank them enough as they went out of their way to make sure EVERYONE in my group was welcome and accomodated. Their personal touches throughout the home, inside and out were topnotch.2) The HouseThe house is simply STUNNING with the best spot on th beach. The large windows were perfect for taking in the views and feeling at one with the beach. Loved the pass-through window in the kitchen, allowing the beach to emerse your senses while inside the house. The layout, amentities, bedding, bathrooms and kitchen were perfect and well-stocked with everything we needed, plus more. The double refrigerator/freezers, microwaves, diswashers, and washer/dryers were fantastic. 3) The ExtrasThere were little extras EVERYWHERE you looked! From the nice soaps, to the extra throw blankets, more beach/hot tub towels than you could imagine, games for inside and outside, the fabulous arcade, firepit, and luxurious bath robes, etc. I won't list all the extras, so that some can remain a lovely surprise for future guests, as they were for us.Sincere THANKS to Cody and his family. Memories were made here!

INCREDIBLE PROPERTY!

Our family and friends have been renting luxury homes and villas for more than 15 years from Costa Rica to Scottsdale to the Oregon Coast. Not only is the home absolutely luxurious but every inch of the home is well thought out and beyond well stocked...high end espresso bar and counter top appliances, cutlery (i usually bring my own), long range binoculars for nature watching, pass through window from the bbq deck to the kitchen, and a ton of little touches and details that made our stay....welcome notes, wireless chargers in all the rooms, to dedicated makeup wash cloths just to mention a few. And the game room...I think the adults logged more time than the kids. Cody and Jenessa were even more accommodating than the house. They were proactive, welcoming, and genuinely interesting in ensuring we had a great time (even during a winter storm that took out power to the entire county). We will definitely look to book this home again!
