A bit short on dishwasher pods. Thought we were short on washcloths but found some bundled with towels we thought were robes. Thermostat took some getting used to but worked fine once we got the hang of it. Easy access to the lake with our canoe/kayaks. Fire pit and outdoor seating are were great. Peaceful location with lots of privacy. Overall really enjoyed our stay.

This home was a fantastic retreat for our family! It’s a very quiet location that felt private but not completely isolated; you can only barely see one other house from anywhere on the property. In pictures, the water looks farther than it is, maybe a couple hundred feet. The place was ideal for our outdoorsy family that likes to play in the trees and at the water’s edge. We enjoyed quiet morning coffees in the treehouse and the kitchen was well furnished with everything we needed to make breakfast, lunch, and dinner.The management company was responsive when we needed assistance, as well. Overall, we were blown away and this absolutely set the VRBO standard for us.

We enjoyed our stay at this secluded cabin on the shores of Beaver Lake! Its in a nice, quiet cove with easy drive to marinas for boating fun! Loved the views of the lake from ALL rooms & deck & treehouse/gazebo was a nice hangout.Not too too steep walk to rocky beach either.The extra 1/2 bath was convenient as can never have too many of those:-)TV's in bedrooms as well as living room was nice for down time.We had a fun time at this cabin & plan to come back!

Cabin on the lake

This was our second stay. We appreciate the proximity to Prairie Creek marina to rent a pontoon. This trip we also paddleboarded at Beaver Lake Outdoor Center.We love the view of the lake from the csbin kitchen table. Amazing sunset. The kitchen is well stocked with cookingutensils. The living room was comfortable for watching a movie at night. The AC works well but cool air is concentrated in master suite.I wish i had brought paper for the kids and I to write. Bring games to play.The cabin is old but perfect for a stay on the lake. The showers were great.The property management is exceptionally responsive to any issues that arrive. We hope to return!

Lovely, quiet with nice lake access

We just returned from 4 nights at this property. It was very relaxing, quiet and peaceful. The master suite is very nicely appointed and spacious. The other bedroom has a larger bed for two people, and then a daybed as well as a pullout trundle. Our 4 kids slept fine together in that room, including 2 teenagers. You can directly access the lake from the property. There are two locations, the one on the left (as you're looking at the lake) is easier to walk down than the other, but neither is difficult. The canoes were okay - please don't get me wrong, we were very appreciative of the amenity of having the canoes there! One was submerged and we pulled it out, but it needs a good cleaning. Another (the blue one) was in good shape and the kids used it quite a bit. The third one (green) was more of a "shell" and it appeared as though someone may have pulled the seats out, so while we took it out once, it wasn't as easy to use. But again, we appreciated having them all the same, and did make use of them every day. The lake bottom is rocky, so do bring water shoes to protect your feet. The "big green egg" worked well. There is a swing on the property, but it's close to the tree trunk, and it has a tendency to spin, so we had more than a few crashes into the tree trunk.If you have little ones, just keep an eye on them in it. The property management team was very responsive, but it seemed like different people answered at different times, but generally very responsive.

We loved this property and everything it offered. We spent 85% of our time outside enjoying the spacious backyard that was right on the lake, canoeing, and being by the fire. It was the perfect mix of seclusion with a short drive to Rogers…which we absolutely fell in love with all the beautiful trails.

Quiet, secluded location

Great location with close access to boat ramps and marina. If you plan to fish and like to use live bait, buy bait at the hook line and sinker in Roger’s. Marina’s don’t carry bait. Property has enough space to park a boat. Property is about a 25 min drive from Roger’s.

Perfect!

My friend and I needed to get away and take a break from our careers. This location was perfect with everything you need. The cabin is historic and so cozy with stylish decor to inspire any interior designer. This place brought the “Girl Scout” out from our youth. The drive to Rogers was beautiful with its distance and the cabin brought solitude to hear birds and fish jumping in the lake. The location is conveniently close to walking and bike trails and War Eagle Cave. You have everything you need other than the groceries you bring. I look forward to return and hope to make this an annual visit. This is a very special place! Thank you!!

This one is even better than the photos and description. So beautiful and clean and comfortable. Perfectly decorated and appointed, inside and out. The lake view and access is better than any I’ve seen on Beaver! What a treasure find.

Nice but needed help

Pictures need updating.was disappointed that the adult swing wasn't there had been replaced by a child one. I was excited about swinging and didn't get too. Bummer. Also the treehouse TV never worked. Also was much colder in the second bedroom, and hotter in the master suite. The barn bathroom door locked us in and needs fixing. We brought all these issues attention to host and nothing was really done, no discount offered or anything. Even just a courtesy fee return of. 50 would've made me feel better, but no just got a "oh we are so sorry..." Nice cabin but will pick a different property next time

Best Winter vacay

We were thrilled with the location of the property with access to the water. We loved seeing the deer in the mornings and inside, the place was beyond lovely. The Christmas decor added a special touch and the furnishings, fireplace, bathtub and all amenities couldn't have been any better.

Beautiful cabin, comfortable stay

We spent 3 days at the cabin. We enjoyed the beautiful weather, went canoeing on the buffalo, enjoyed coffee on the back porch and had an extremely enjoyable stay! The cabin was well stocked, the bed was comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a nice getaway! The property was well maintained and communication was on point!

Awesome Lakefront Stay

I very much enjoyed my stay the interior was reminiscent of Classic lakefront cabin style the kitchen had all enemies needed. The little treehouse in the back with the lighting was a wonderful place to sit and smoke a cigar, and we made some pretty amazing tomahawks on the big green egg.!!

Great location and easy lake access

The home on Beaver lake was so great. Easy access to the lake with a gradual slope to lake. Wear water shoes to get in lake as it was a rocky entrance but was perfect to get in the lake for floating and fishing. The home was very comfortable and perfect for our week. Very responsive to any questions we had!

Such a beautiful home, inside and out. We enjoyed the unique interior decorations, and the relaxing outdoor areas. The tree lighted house with the television was absolutely perfect. Communicate was as good as possible could be. Very happy overall with our stay.
