Situated in the heart of the Tamar Valley, Stella Rose is a serene river escape complete with an enchanting garden with many vantage points to view the ever changing seasons o kanamuluka/Tamar River.

The cottage has had a modern upgrade whilst retaining many of it's quality of its mid-century features. It has a unique feel that will wrap you in her charms evoking memories of the past and leaving you with new life long memories.

On the upper level taking in the best views of the garden and river is the main bedroom. The second bedroom is located on the same level and enjoys the views of the back garden. The bedrooms each have a king size bed and are dressed in crisp white-bedding ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. The master bedroom also enjoys a full wardrobe and who wouldn't enjoy looking out to the view whilst working in the dedicated office space. It also enjoys a dual heater and air conditioner ensuring your all year comfort.

The open-plan kitchen contains all the modern conveniences you need to cook a delicious meal. You'll find a Nespresso-compatible coffee machine, as well as the kitchen basics you would expect from a self-contained stay.

The dining area is located in the kitchen area is perfect for 4 guests.

The lounge room enjoys a sunny position during the day and beautiful vistas of the garden right across to the river ever changing with the seasons. It is complete with mid-century detailing including a large solid timber door which serves as a dividing screen between the kitchen and living area.

The wood heater is most definitely a focal point of the lounge room and you can choose to watch the flames dance behind the glass or watch TV and stream all of your favourite shows and moves.

The main bathroom has a shower, vanity and a bath perfect for soaking away after a day of exploring the Tamar Valley.

A small laundry/utility space contains a washer, dryer, and hanging area for your outdoor jackets is located down the stairs in the utility area of the house.

The front porch catches the morning light and extends out to the front garden towards the Tamar River.

Spend your day exploring the Tamar Valley and return to the peace and quiet of Stella Rose Cottage either inside by the fire gazing over the river or taking a wonder and discovering some hidden spots in the established gardens.

A well-stocked wood pile can be found at the rear of the property.

You will have exclusive use of the entire property. There’s off-street parking for a number of cars.

Given, its views over the Tamar River, Stella Rose Cottage is elevated so the driveway is on an incline. However, you can drive right up to the back door so if you have any guests with mobility issues this won't be a concern.

We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any questions during your stay.

We would love it if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests.

I am not always unable to personally check the house before your arrival. I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore I have been let down in any way by the presentation of Stella Rose Cottage.

Stella Rose Cottage is conveniently located in the heart of the Tamar Valley region.

It is a 5-minute drive away from a major shopping centre, offering supermarkets, boutiques, cafes, and more.

It is a 20-minute drive to Launceston's CBD, allowing you to enjoy urban amenities, cultural events, and diverse dining options while still relishing the tranquility of your mid-century retreat.

The local township of Exeter has everything you need to fill the fridge - with local supermarkets, a fantastic butcher and bakery, and a small bottle shop.

The Tamar Valley Tourist Information Centre and numerous other services are also located in Exeter.

There is limited public transport in the Tamar Valley region, so you will require your own transport to get to Stella Rose Cottage.
