I’m sad to leave a review other than a 10, but book our vacations by others reviews and have to be fair. While the home is convenient, kitchen appliances were new, and communication was excellent, I cannot rate our stay as exceptional for several reasons. For context, I’m a single mom with 4 teenagers/young adults.
First, when we arrived the blinds were broken as was the tv remote. My son cut himself in trying to open the blinds to the patio which were clearly broken. In my opinion, all of the blinds in the home need replaced. The owners did replace the remote by day 2/3; however, only basic basic stations were offered. It was college bowl game season and the inability to watch would have been a deal breaker for us. We eventually figured out how to pair our iPhones and stream.
Second, we spend most evenings hanging out and the furniture, although newish, wasn’t comfortable. Both sofas in fact were not comfortable.
Third, the home is in an older section of this neighborhood, and is next to a very unkept home, sketchy in fact. Again, while we enjoyed the hot tub, there was NO privacy to this home and one of their windows looked into the area which was only a few feet away. If I didn’t have three 20 something aged boys with me, I would have felt unsafe in the tub.
We’ve stayed in this area previously, although a newer section, will check that next time. If you’re traveling with a guy/guys and don’t plan to spend time here but sleeping and an occasional meal in, it’s fine.
