« I really enjoyed my time here. AC and TV worked just fine, kitchen was great, there's a coffee pot, and tea kettle. There is a private entrance to the upstairs, but one does need to open the garage door to get in and out of the room, and the house itself is close to other properties on a private drive. Altogether, it was a lovely stay on the Allegheny - definitely recommend bringing a watercraft if you have one as it's a perfect place to launch from and possibly explore or fish from nearby...

« Setting up an account on vrbo and getting past all the verification codes was murder. The cabin and its features was as listed. There is a small community of cabins spread all over, so you have privacy and a lot to yourself. Except the trail behind the cabin, people were driving on it with their atvs at 9 10 o'clock at night. « The bears den was a nice quiet getaway for me and my wife to celebrate our anniversary. She chose this time of year because of the fall leaves and the Allegheny national Forest was full of awesome autumn sights. The property is a repurposed restaurant and each unit has a unique theme. « Nice studio sized space perfect for the boss and I. Close enough to walk to the riverbank, and short jaunt up the road to the sis-in-law’s place. Nicely decorated and cozy. « We thoroughly enjoyed the Hogback lodge. Everything as expected, even the weather cooperated.
