« Lovely little property, quiet and cozy tucked in the woods. Kate was great to work with. We had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Very close to Afton State Park. Stillwater was an easy drive. »

« This lake home was beautiful, clean, and cozy. The kids loved the zip line. The kitchen was well equipped. The lake was weedy right off the dock, but perfect just a bit further out. The kids loved playing on the big lily pad. We took many little rides in the paddleboat. »

« I am a local in the area and rented the cabin for family to stay for a long weekend to attend our daughter's graduation party. Our stay was great. The owners have done a wonderful job keeping the charm of a vintage Balsam Lake cabin. I was a little concerned at first when pulling into the secluded roadway, because there are a few poorly conditioned homes before arriving to the rental cabin. Rest assued, once at the cabin, the beauty of the lake and charm of the cabin more than makes up for it....

« We went back and forth about booking due to the reviews and I’m so glad we just went ahead and booked. It’s definitely a good old northern cabin on the lake, outdated, and some spider webs. But, the lake was nice, nice dock, fire pit cozy, beds were comfy and we had a great time! Would definitely rebook if we find ourselves in the area again. »
