In general,we are not prone to write negative reviews, but this time, we feel obliged to warn people
Having read all the good reviews, we booked our holiday here, but the truth is: we were quite disappointed and that’s not because we have such high standards.....
Let’s start with the positive: the location is close to the gondola station, so getting to the skiing area is easy. Also the dishwasher is modern and good.
Sadly more on the negative side. Sleeping (which is what you mainly use the apartment for, since it is too small to do anything else):
The beds are uncomfortably hard, leading to serious backpains. The only exception is the living room sofa that, once extended, takes up most of your living room and looks worn. Since collapsing it back isn’t clear, it means you don’t have a good seating in the evening to look at the very small tv(never had such a small sized tv).
Sleeping is further inhibited by the fact that (1) you are just above the lobby with a pool table. So a lot of noice; and balls bouncing off the table and (2) the doorbell is the last switch before the area with the elevators so many people mistake your doorbell for the light switch (with no possibility to turn it off; we checked...).
The description of the apartment makes you believe that there is internet (only in the lobby) and a washing machine and tumble dryer in the apartment which is not (perhaps in the building?).
There’s however an abundance of decorations (hearts everywhere), mainly in places where you would like to store your belongings. The toilet had an sickeningly sweet smell, but still looked not clean. Also, the second bathroom does have a shower, but with very limited dimensions of the enclosure (70x70 cm) which will cause you to continually bump into the shower lever handle, resulting in a freezing or scalding hot shower....
About the optional “Cleaning package” at the end of your stay. It isn’t. Optional that is. We cleaned the apartment, but still had to pay the entire cleaning package. Reasons: we didn’t clean the toilet, the windows required cleaning and we didn’t put the sofa entirely back in place. We definitely cleaned the toilet, never touched the windows and looked for a manual to fold back the sofa, but there’s none and we didn't want to risk breaking it.
The owner didn't show empathy when trying to look for a middle ground. So, since you will lose your deposit anyway, don’t bother cleaning anything and leave the apartment as dirty as you feel like. To us, it was a bit of a sad ending to a holiday we really looked forward to for a long time
