The Villa appears as if it has been recently renovated as it is very nice! Not only is it extremely nice it is very clean and decorated beautifully. Also the owner is very responsive and very thoughtful as she even left us a couple coffee mugs as gifts. It was a pleasant surprise to find the property was just as nice as advertised in the pictures.

perfect getaway

Very clean, setup was both modern and beach themed. I loved the decor! dolphins were swimming off the back porch and deer would be there when you wake up. Nothing negative to say about the place. The property Manager Deborah was more than accommodating as she got our amenity cards taken care of in advance and all the helpful information that we could want. perfect and a much needed getaway. would highly recommend 10/10.

Fripp Island Fabulous!!

We fell in love with Fripp Island nearly 20 years ago and look forward to our visits every year! Fripper Upper was the perfect spot for us! Beautifully and comfortably appointed, immaculately clean and the owners thought of EVERYTHING you could possibly need! Centrally located on the island, beautiful views, our new home away from home!!

Frippin' Fantastic!

Shannan's condo was the perfect spot for us to celebrate our 18th anniversary and first time to Fripp Island. Extremely clean and exactly as described; the app she created for her guests was most helpful! LOVED the coffee/wine bar; I was completely obsessed w/ seeing all the deer! We had visitors everyday to the condo! Marsh views were incredible and my husband thoroughly enjoyed watching the storms roll in from the back porch. The bed was very comfortable. Location is perfect, especially if you get resort cards to have access to the pools and fitness center! Shannan was available via text if needed and very responsive! Almost NO noise from neighbors! Definitely recommend!!

First Time to Fripp (and Fripper Upper)...but not the Last Time!!

For our first visit to Fripp, we stayed at Fripper Upper, which was an immaculate property! The unit was on the marsh, with a wonderful and peaceful view. The unit itself was in pristine condition; newly renovated and super-clean, with all the updates and amenities you could want in a vacation rental. The bedroom was warm and inviting and the bed was super comfortable. The kitchen was brand new, was well stocked and had wonderful new appliances! Bathroom, laundry, screened porch and comfy living room....Fripper Upper has it all! Shannan is a great host! She answered all our questions so quickly, and went above and beyond with providing all kinds of information about Fripp and the amenities and services on and off the island. She also provided a Digital Welcome Guide that answered every question you could think of and then some, as well as giving a wealth of information on everything Fripp. This was our first visit to Fripp and Fripper Upper but definitely not our last. We would give it 6 stars if it was an option! Thank you, Shannan, for being such an awesome host...we are looking forward to our next visit!!

Amazing Place, Amazing Location

Pictures don’t do it full justice, this place is an amazing experience, and is wonderfully situated between the channel and beach. Shannan was super helpful and kind throughout the whole process, you could really tell they put a lot of effort into making people feel welcomed and at home. 10 stars all around!

Perfect for 2 in Fripp!!

This condo is perfect for a party of 2 staying in Fripp. You're right across the street from the center of the activity of the island with the Adult Pool/Bar, access to the beach, tennis courts, etc. We had everything we needed and more inside the condo, and knew we could message Shannan if we needed help. The best part is having the marsh view from the screened in porch -- we watched gators feed, birds diving and jumping fish all week! And the deer frequented us, too. We're so excited to rent again when we come back!

Retirement celebration.

This is the perfect property for a couples get away. We had a wonderful time. I appreciated all the helpful "notes" on how to operate everything. Check in and check out was a breeze. I enjoyed sitting on the porch every morning over looking the marsh and watching the sun rise. Perfect hosts.

This is an immaculate apartment with over the top attention to detail in the way it is furnished and maintained. The owner is responsive to your questions. The location is close to pickleball courts but on the backside so no noise. The view of the marsh is lovely. Honestly, what is not to like?

Could be better could be worse!!

This is my new mantra, but Fripper Upper could NOT have been better for our little get away. We have rented homes and condos on OBX for 20 years. Fripper Upper was spotlessly clean. Had everything we could possibly have needed. The perfect location. The hosts were exceptional.....we hope to be able to come back again.

Your Search Is Over! A+++++

I wanted to leave a review before we even arrived at the condo. These homeowners have gone above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as if you owned it yourself. Every little detail was mentioned in their custom App... right down to how to use their Pampered Chef Egg Cooker! The bed was sooooo incredibly comfortable! The decor was so peaceful and beautiful. We went the few days before Hurricane Ian so we didn't get to enjoy the beach as much, but luckily, the condo was a retreat in and of itself. The screened in porch was heaven! The family of deer that circled the condo every morning and evening is super friendly. Please do NOT feed the deer.... as difficult as it is, they cannot digest anything other than their natural surroundings. Back to the condo... absolutely will be back! Conveniently located right across the street from beach access and the food court and adult and Olympic pools. Super quiet. There are a few stairs to enter the condo but first floor after that. It was simply perfect!! Thank you to the hosts for opening your home to complete strangers... although I feel we are now friends. A+A+A+A+A+

Perfect!

This property was perfect for our long weekend! It has been renovated and decorated, and they have thought of every detail to make one comfortable. The marsh view is beautiful, right by the small canal. You can hear the clapper rails in the marsh and the fish swirling in the water. The kitchen is small and nicely laid out, with every utensil, pot or pan, dishcloth, soap, etc. you could want. There is a well placed and well stocked coffee bar. The bedroom was great, with such a comfortable mattress that I am going to order one for my home. Linens were great throughout! The owner was very responsive and helpful! Thanks for creating such a cute oasis.
